Welcome to XMR General, dedicated to the discussion of the world's leading privacy-coin!
Because Monero is secure, low-fee, and borderless, people can easily send money despite corrupt and broken governments or banks. This provides economic empowerment of individuals in oppressive countries or depressed economies.
Private financial history protects consumers and companies from price manipulation, supply chain exploitation, economic discrimination, or the like. Monero is the only cryptocurrency that has the features to serve as completely fungible, decentralized, electronic cash.

If you're new, feel free to ask any questions you like and a Monero Chad will be with you shortly.

I'm glad I went with a simpler theme for the 2700 stickers I put up in Berlin.
(Picture related shows when I found a weird transparent Monero sticker. The only time I saw another XMR sticker)

Very early on 'MRO' was used as the ticker, but it was switched to XMR to comply with ISO 4217.

Thank you for posting this thread as always.

Has anyone had trouble with the Cake wallet recently? Starting a couple weeks ago my wallet stopped loading when I opened the app. It's completely unusable. I'm using an iPhone 6 mind you.

While I wait for a software update, I'm using the Monero GUI wallet on linux. What do y'all think of this wallet?

I don't use the cake wallet, but you probably need to uninstall and reinstall.
The GUI is a really good desktop wallet, second best only to the CLI.

Found Medium article about their Crypto Incubator, seems safe, share your opinion about it.

Total nub question, but will I need to enter one security word to recover my wallet, or the entire list? Can I reuse words in the future?

>> No.24599594

>>24599404
u need to enter them all. the security phrase the entropy to generate the wallet. if a word is spelled wrong it will tell you.

Beware of people selling very cheap XMR on localmonero, I stumbled upon one of them yesterday selling XMR at spot over Zelle and I'm 99% sure it was a fed trying to collect data on XMR buyers.
Only do business with well-known sellers who don't ask for ID.
