I have a couple questions about the Flare Spark token drop that I have been unable to find the answers to.

As of right now it is 1 for 1 XRP for Spark token but if it ends up being more than that, which has been rumored because of what ripple owns in escrow and what jeb owns, and your snapshot is done on an exchange is there any gaurentee the exchange will give you all of your spark tokens or can they fuck you over by only giving you 1 for 1?

As for cold storage on Ledger products there is obviously the toolkit that can be used to claim your spark tokens, but that is a 3rd party service. Could that 3rd party service fail and not actually snapshot your xrp therefore screwing you out of your Spark tokens?

While these exchanges are allowing the snapshot to take place is there a possibility that they never list the spark token and just leave XRP Hodlers with bags and bags of spark tokens with absolutely nothing to do with it?

Read about their cooperation with Uniswap. As I get they will create liquidity pools there and have already created Cascade services with passive income solutions.

Don't you think if I am here asking these questions I have already read the guide. Nowhere in the document does it state whether or not an exchange can fuck you over if they chose to give 9 to 1 or something like that.

Trying to send XRP from Coinbase Pro to Exodus and it keeps asking for an XRP tag. Where do I get the tag in Exodus?

Nevermind. You can used anything in the tag field.

I could be mistaken, but that isn’t third party? You change the message associated with your ripple wallet to point to an ETH address — I’m fairly certain this is all done in your end and will be captured by the snapshot?

Are you sure dude? I transfered from coinbase to binance the other day (pre coinbase airdrop announcement) and it said it required the tag to transfer funds.

If you're sending to an exchange, you absolutely have to have a tag. If you're sending to a wallet that you control, you don't need a tag.

Also some exchanges will force you to have a tag to withdraw. In that case (withdrawing to a wallet you control), the tag can be anything.

Oh awesome, sorry didn't want to post false information, apparently they announced it just today.

Exodus doesn't need a xrp tag to send to it.
