i'm not sure thats quite right. UBT is needed to access and use the framework. i believe the first ubt companies use will have to be bought at market. to "refill" they then can pay unibright the company directly using fiat but that UBT has to come from somewhere since they cant mint new tokens.
UBT is a relatively strange coin PA wise, it just ranged forever btw 30 and 40 cents, its not decoupled from btc but it just never left that range until now mere days from sharing the results from working with coca cola, a fucking fortune 100 company. ubt is probably going to 1 billion marketcap which is north of 7 dollars per token.

Well, I am a high functioning individual, and I can tell you their low level fud is just to buy cheap - I follow these thread and seen many stupid comments, and lots of rebukes that are just ignored.

The token is needed - Mandatory - Only way to pay - it is stated over and over again, repeated again and again. I think people are just playing on the idea that people could just pay cash instead. Well, if we are going down that road, what is the point of any cryptocurrency... But also, who cares about that, it is created, you must use the token, end of story.

But the argument for token is needed is now strengthened massively by repeated appearances on the Baseline show where Stefan and Wolpert outline the advantages of paying with a single token, and then more recently, how Unibright integration with CB custody and merger with Provide Payments, means that UBT can be used and programmed in a way that means that it will pay mainnet gas AND the client does not need to worry about holding/securing the tokens they are using due to CB custody. THIS IS A GAME CHANGER. The client will just pay fiat each month, and then all the magic happens as their money buys and uses UBT tokens behind the scenes.
