Grew up in Florida/NYC.
Had friends, tried to make friends, but always had that issue.
Go abroad, friends aplenty, easy to socialize, fuck around, bond, understood true friendship.
Make my entire identity be based solely in JP/PH

Earlier this year, left PH, stuck unable to go back for visa stuff.

I try to make friends with locals, but, I feel pariah. It isn't an issue of money, salary is 160k+ but everyone feels cold, a-daft - I enjoy productivity, making myself better, learning languages. Most of the people I talk to/socialize online are in JP/CN/PH and then locally same, vs locals locals, that just treat me as tech bro pariah, but minority so their NPC programming goes off.

Next week I'll be in Dubai, I don't really want to be there, but, I figure, why not, what am I doing here.
Hotel cheap rates daily around the world, in Seattle, past year I haven't been doing a lease at all, just doing month+ long term rates that are $45-70 a night, which to me is pretty comfy.

I'm meeting a Chinese girl next week, in Dubai, arriving 2 days before she does and we'll make our break for that city for a few weeks, tons of sex, then if I can, fly back to Philippines around new years/proper bribing people.

But yeah, the more and more older I get, the more I just dislike Americans/USA. I grew up here, I know the culture, it just isn't what it used to be, and with the blm mantra and people thinking they can't do better - "hurr drr, I'm a supermarket grocer, I deserve $20/hr" I really wonder what the USA is going to, vs the rest of the world, population growth and such.

Starting a family isn't an issue for me, anywhere in the world, but, just, my home, what I know, isn't, ideal. I trust it for legal, law, and general, trust, but, I really hate the people.

Technically, yes, I'm Euro/Spain, but norn in NYC. But my name is very Spanish. Seattle, a city for it's diversity and crap, everyone assumes I'm some undocumented Mexican. It's kinda ironic, really.

Speaking Spanish here is really "seen" or "felt" as disgusting. Most of the people I speak Spanish here are not in tech, janitors, grocery cashiers, etc. They're nice, we chat/chismas because they tell me the same thing, no one really talks to them in Spanish, just their family. I can feel it in public though, it is very different than speaking in Japanese and having actual conversations. (JLPT N2)


Then again, it could just be me. I try be be self aware, I can read a room, I've had tons of success in other places, but those patterns fail me here.

But somehow, I like it here too, no one really gives a fuck, and I can make locals angry if I say the homeless brought it upon themselves. That's a sensitive issue, and I guess most people here aren't used to a "conservative" minority or a "floridian" which is funny as fuck, what's liberal in Florida is conservative af in Settle.

Or, maybe I'm just truly an asshole, but from the number of invites for christmas and adventures I've been getting for Africa, and my friends from NY/FL that came to visit during Thanksgiving, I don't think I'm that much of an asshole.

But I know I am direct, and that's an east coast thing. People in PNW are timid, beta, but hey, I can do drugs w/ no fear.

Same culture in Chicago, here it just feels really repressed, from the way other Spanish people speak to me, IDK, maybe they aren't used to it, or they don't think I, on the surface know Spanish.
