Exactly same scenario for me.

I'm nit saying i'm smart for buying crypto but its like they can only react to a stimulus in the immediate short term. No concept of abstract longterm thinking or risk awareness.

No point in telling normies about crypto. They won't buy when it's down. When they buy high and it falls, they'll blame you. Most people simply don't have the understanding of investing in general, so they'll be ruined from the volatility. Some of my friends know I have crypto, and that's enough. No point in shilling.
