I bet I'm not the only one with an IT background that read the white paper and understood the ramifications of this. Not only do get to profit of rl gains, but I can build a business off of this project too. The future is looking bright bros.

Thank you so much Gilles. Your life's work is finally coming to fruition, and I'm greatful and excited to be a part of it.

Ohh.. Another one fell for this scam I see...

Why? He's barely done anything. Really the whole team has never built anything before this.. They were garbage men, welders, and other shit before they became desktop grid enthusiasts turned "Token Founders"..
Not to say those jobs don't take skill, but they have no business running a software team, let alone building a decentralized platform.
Every iexec side project has been borderline a scam/heavily mismanaged. Some of those by RLC "Founders". RLC has 0 chance at success. It is a shit show used to enrich the founders with very little given back to community for actually keeping it going and contributing.
RLC Founders keep their stash in BTC for the most part(some 6,000 BTC). Should be all you need to know in their own faith of their project.
I'm a worker who has seen the show from the inside.. I only keep my node running to turn it into other more valuable coins at this point. Trust me when I say it's a complete shit show. If it weren't for a few very smart worker pools, the wheels would have fallen off already.
"Invest" at your own risk, but i assure you it won't end well.

How can anyone with half a brain call it a scam? Uts not guaranteed success, but I've read the white paper, the documentation, run multiple instances on the worker VM, reading through the API and SDK documentation and have a 6 Node server cluster with a 1GB uplink configured jiat for this project. If the value goes up more, I'll be invested in a 10 node Nutanix cluster configuration with dual internet connections and a UPS to accept enterprise requests for decentralised computation.

This (to my mind at least) us one of the most exciting projects in crypto. Working in sys admin for so many years might have biased my view a bit, but this project just makes so much sense!

they say in the whitepaper already: it's the internets next step

there are 4 1+ trillion dollar companies

Apple, Microsoft, Google and Amazon...

Apple and Microsoft invented the PC
Google made internet mainstream
Amazon makes the most money with their AWS thing

now imagine what we're building is a brain

Apple and Microsoft delivered the reptilian complex
Amazon and Google are the paleomammalian complex (limbic system)
And iExec is the motherfucking neomammalian complex (neocortex)

the world computer will be a super brain, and there's nothing to do but wait

it's a shitcoin from 2017 that hasn't died yet, but stayed at 1$ for almost 4 YEARS, even though they haven't done ANYTHING (at least that public eye can see)

dosen't that sound weird? shouldn't this shit have reached 0$ by now? WHY IS IT STILL HERE? because it's time hasn't come yet...

LINK was a 0.5$ stablecoin for 4 years, too... and then it went through the fucking roof...

don't be a retard, you're stil got time

87 = 1.000.000th of the supply (only 1million people can have more than 87)
870 = 100.000th of the supply (only 100k people can have 870)
8700 = 10.000th of the supply (only 10k people can have 8700)

They're not baseless numbers. If you have 8700 you're guaranteed to be rich if it all works out. If you're really a long time holder you'd know this. Or maybe you just went in RLC because the memes are great...

Correction below
87 = 1 / 1.000.000th of the supply (only 1million people can have more than 87)
870 = 1 / 100.000th of the supply (only 100k people can have 870)
8700 = 1 / 10.000th of the supply (only 10k people can have 8700)

Im well aware of the breakdown. By baseless numbers, I was referring to the years that you gave. See the greentext and brush up on your reading comprehension. And spare me your assumptions - I can smell the newfag eagerness on you

oh, the years also aren't really baseless. And I didn't give them. Someone else did.
I think that the 7-10 years is something like this.
We have until the end of 2021 until the bubble pops again, after that we're going to have a 3-5 year bear market, after which we'll have a 2-4 year bull market (like when BTC went from 3.2k up untill now). He was probably just referring to the fact that in 7-10 years we'll be at the top of the next bull run and if RLC does good on this bull it'll 100% stay around to see the next one. And I personally believe that the next bull run is THE ONE, where crypto finally starts getting some serious % of the world GDP (let's say 5-10% of the world GPD, could be more). And if that happens and RLC does good in this bull run we'll be set for eternity. So... the numbers aren't really all that made up if you really get market cycles
