ethereum has massive adoption and nobody uses competing chains. Multiple coins claim they are going to kill ethereum, but people can see they're ghost chains.
cardano's solution:
don't release smart contracts at all. As long as they are not released, they are free to claim ethereum is going to die as soon as they are.
