I can't seem to find the article, but one of them has ties into central banking I believe. Maybe someone else can find that. Either way, their platform is ready to use just as much as Ethereum is. And you have a point about developers having the option of both. If professional institutions had to choose, they'd probably go with a team of verifiable MIT computer scientists as opposed to one headed by an anorexic Russian cat shirt enthusiast. At least worth a small bag at these prices. It had no problem getting listed on coinbase and getting close to $1 over the summer bull run, and that's even with the excessive supply AND staking already implemented for its holders.

If they get some partners to integrate with, they'll get usage, which could still raise the price. ETH and these other, technically better chains co-existing-both at higher price levels-is probably what I am convincing myself of locking in as a projection

I looked this up a few months ago, there is something called the staking rewards program which is closed and it will distribute a special pool of 200m ALGOs to participating wallets, I guess it was to incentivize people to keep money in ALGO
