Ampleforth just announced it is going cross chain, i.e. bringing AMPL onto Polkadot, Tron, and Near. Heres the official announcement: https://www.ampltalk.org/app/forum/announcements-22/topic/multichain-ampleforth-231/

Here's what will happen:

It will probably launch on TRON first - SOON and instantly be integrated to:

- Tron's Justswap (uniswap)
- with a Geyser there that will pay out AMPL and Justin will almost definitely add TRON incentives too - he wants AMPL baddddly!
- and DJED (their clone of Maker) - again maybe even with soft incentives for taking/making loans / printing stablecoins.
- an AAVE clone? is there one on tron? This is extremely bullish if there is, but regardless.

SOON there really should be either Aave, Cream, or Maker on the ETH chain - the first to add it will take a TON of AMPL tokens in and earn profit from fees and leave the other 2 behind. But thats a topic for a different day.. back to tron/etc

How it will work is you will lock your AMPL on the eth chain with a transaction and they will appear at an address under your control / of your choosing on the TRON network, the unlock back to ETH will work the same way - lock/freeze them on tron to access them on eth.

So when it launches on Tron and is available on their dex, their lending platform, has $TRON incentives on , then definitely some half decent % of supply will move over to earn the initial sky high APY rates, to use their $AMPL as collateral to mint tron stablecoins (and then put those to work, or just buy more ampl - as lets face it, you do that with $5-20m and buy more AMPL you are supporting your buy by almost guaranteeing a price rise and amazing rebase for the next day lol . i.e. expect this to go into HYPER mode.

When Polkadot AND Near add it also - AND integrate it to their DeFi stacks, then it is 3x as much extra activity, so there might be good lending rates on Tron one week, then Polkadot (or the ampl team) might then incentivise lending on AMPL on Polkadot, so lockups and transfers happen and ampl moves over there, but then NEAR incentivises AMPL-NEAR on their dex... and there is just 3x+++ more opportunities and utility pulling AMPL off the open market to lock it here and there and earn incentives and take loans and make loans.

Here you are honestly looking at $2-10billion marketcap. Call that dreaming if you like, but you heard it here first... Like genuinely actual "AMPL has made it and is a core part of not just eth, but is working as a source of collateral and a backbone of multiple decentralised exchanges across 3 different protocols" type situation.
