$230 per link would mean a market cap of 88 Billion, right? Same as Volkswagen's. Honest question: how can a decentralised oracle on the blockchain be valued the same as the world's 2nd largest car manufacturer?

Its just "painting the tape". Last trade price multiplied by number of tokens in public hands. It can be manipulated easily by exhausting sell pressure. Its psychological warfare against sellers.

Volkswagen? You mean the company that got outed for cheating on diesel emissions tests by a bunch of retarded undergrad students and had to pay multibillion dollar fines to American and European regulators?

No way chainlink could EVER in history approach the marketcap of a company like that. Impossible. Better sell all your LINK!

Okay i just realized a serious problem. Imagine your $100 of crypto is worth $50 million in the future. Why would anyone rich and powerful feel safe knowing their entire worth is only protected by a private key? If its ever leaked theyre fucked. With a bank, that kind of risk is not even thought about

value is determined by how much users you can serve

VW have to manufacture and sell an overpriced car to product value and serve someone

Chainlinks oracle network can serve anyone with a single click or signature across the entire globe

Sergey dumping is bearish anon. And he has loads more to dump. It is the only thing that really worries me. They have been dumping a lot lately. It might eventually exhaust buyers and we dump. On the other hand I suspect sergey needs the money for hiring more developers to make chainlink better, so I geuss its fine.
Dumping tokens is the only income for chainlink and if they want to hire loads of more expensive developers and acquire more companies with oracle related tech they need the extra cash. But still, it remains bearish. How much is enough Sergey, how much?
