The dust hasn't settled, but financially I have profited somewhat. My stocks are up (though probably would have been up more without the virus), I didn't lose my job and managed to pick up some overtime and new training in emergency management. I've been saving a lot more since I'm not spending $150+ on entertainment every week.

But on the other hand the training for my normal job was delayed by around 6 months, and without theater, movies, and going to cabaret shows with friends things have been quite tough. I hadn't realized just how much of a coping mechanism theater had become for helping me maintain even mental health. The first couple months without it was really bad. Obviously others who lost their jobs had it a lot harder, but still it was difficult to keep positive. Live entertainment went away right when it was needed most.

Hoping to get the vaccine soon so things start to return to normal, and I can get back to consooming as much culture as humanly possible.
