Yeah I dunno why either. It's probably the most legitimate DeFi project out there. Instead the attention goes to Uni because free airdrop and YFI because "OMG MORE EXPENSIVE THAN BITCOIN"

>most TLV locked
>usecase not gimped by scaling at all like 90% defi
>most fees extracted to treasury (at governance disposal)
>acually smart stacking mechanism that acts as insurance fund not staking jsut for stake of staking like rest
>acually active governance
>real and insured financial institutions doing governance proposals to plug in aave
>V2 makes everything much more smooth and better
>much faster to iterate/add than compound
>much slower to iterate/add than cream wich brakes shit and loses money all the time (so sweetspot)
>literally sergeys bffs
>huge push of paltform to asian markets just starting
>flashloans are still most mind blowing tech in space (yes even over zks)

How the fuck we get less than 1 aave thread week lol

Only negative side is no CB listing because BC is invested in competition COMP lsited day 1 aave still nothing (same whit uma and snx lol)
But hey 2 positive things out of it

its in the middle of pulling an ETH/LINK and nobody cares
they’ll only care when the top is in and it will seem so obvious in hindsight

Who the fuck knows. Depends how important DeFi becomes in this bullrun. Possibly very high

At least 10 so you can stake

I own AAVE but I don't understand why the price is so high, isn't it just a governance token now? God bless whoever is pumping this shit so high for me, thank you

I opted for steaking, moderately comfy. Already claimed 1 AAVE. If it actually goes to $1k that's $500 per month. Then again that would also mean I would have $119k staked just to earn $500 per month

>> No.24478490

what risks are involved with staking? i only have 20 so it's not worth it atm, but 1k/coin and i may as well. might cash out of a couple of others to chuck at aave too, i think it's going places.

unless they turned it on without me knowing, slashing isn't activated yet. When it is, if my understanding is correct, staking rewards will be increased too

The stake rewards aren't amazing but that's what makes it so legit in my opinion. People don't stake because they wanna grab money. People stake because they plan on long term holding AAVE and if you do that you might as well stake

There will be no such thing, only way to do it now governance is active is to vote on it, and that would defeat the purpose

But aave made 1 mil from fees in treasury last 25 days (and it is jsut starting I can see 20m every 30 days easy) and treasury use is also governed by us tokenhodlers...

>> No.24478949

>>24478108

Its a Governance token yes..but there's other value as well. For one you can insure the platform via Staking. Second, you can use it as collateral for loans on the platform.

The way things are trending in the Governance Forums, the Treasury funds should be available to the Governance holders, so they could do annual distributions if there is sufficient profit

>> No.24483612

I bought 15k LEND earlier this year for less than $1k when it was still less than 10 cents ($10 for AAVE) just because some anon posted a really cool meme with a vibrant, bright aesthetic. I haven’t sold a single one besides buying 80 more when it dipped to $30 then selling at $70, but I still have my initial stack of 15k LEND or 150 AAVE and don’t plan on touching that as they’ve been staked for awhile now. That <$1k investment is now worth $13k. My only regret is that I didn’t buy more. Regardless thank you based anon for shilling cool memes of this shit back in May
