Why would anyone want to live in that crowded shithole

Aren't there gonna be a lot of people homeless in the next few months? Are a lot of people going to lose their jobs? Would that be good or bad for stonks and crypto

Imagine walking out of your 3.9 million dollar home to homeless people shitting in the street living for free kek idk how they convince themselves to live there

This is why you live in the south with a low population. I rent homes out for $550-$1100 a month depending on condition.

I couldn't live in a rural area I think. I live in nyc and the rents are quite high (I pay $825/mo for a small room in a duplex in Queens with roommates) but it's worth it for me because of all the culture. I really love theater and movies, so before all of this virus shit I was either going to see a show on broadway, an off Broadway show, or a movie at least 3 times every single week. There are dozens of movie theaters in the city, many showing things you can't see anywhere else, and there were over 100 different plays being put on every single day. Unfortunately the virus has shut all that down, but it'll be back.

That's the privilege I pay for. I think it's worth it. If I got a house in some rural area with no culture, just things like camping and fishing I think I'd be pretty unhappy.

plays are gay and every movie ever made can be torrented, just so you know

Sorry to hear you feel that way, but I very much disagree. Have you seen much professional theater?

Sounds like cope. You can't even own basic means to protect yourself in that shithole.

This shit won't be around forever. Either the vaccines will get it under control or if not eventually enough time will go by that people will realize shutting down over this shit was a collosal waste and things will return to normal. We won't still be doing this years from now. Broadway as we knew it may have a hard time coming back, but theater is thousands of years old and has survived many plagues before. It's not gone for good.

No, muh guns is a cope from people who live in places with nothing else to do. I think our gun laws in NY are absolutely retarded and do nothing to keep me safe, but I've also never once felt threatened living here. I don't need weapons on my person and in my home. People should definitely have the right to own them if they want, but NY is not the crime ridden hellscape you think it is. That's just propaganda.

I spent three years driving from ktown to work (close to bay cities luckily) and the traffic made me want to kill myself. But I’d stop for a pint there every now and then before the sluggish journey home.
