I'll personally be looking more at BTC as an indicator of the xsn top, and will then be using the dex to move my btc holdings into stablecoins or maybe xsn when the BTC top is in.

my biggest desire for this project is to see the dex up and running with the BTC-dai or BTC-usdc pair, so I can tether up my gains without KYC or custodial exchange "maintenance" issues.

LOL. You don't understand the tech. Ask the devs. The only way this works is by 'aggregating' from central exchanges that don't participate in the lightning network. So, it's not an L2 exchange. It's an exchange with a capacity of under 3 BTC that can be traded on BTC lightning and a capacity of under 4 LTC that can be traded on LTC lightning. I won't mention XSN capacity because it's a complete shit coin. Anyway, after the capacity is exceeded on the lightning network, they'll have to rely on central exchanges replenishing the lightning nodes, which relies on the latency at which the CEX transfers. Furthermore, the CEX may decide to put withdrawal restrictions on wallets at the CEX, meaning the 'DEX' has no liquidity AT ALL.

Also, the fees generated by BTC lightning network are ALMOST NOTHING. It's enough for a meal at TACO BELL.

First, XSN masternodes HAVE nothing to do with BTC lightning and LTC lightning nodes. THEY ARE independent of XSN shitchain. Always have been.

It works like this for example if you were to purchase LTC with BTC. You rent a channel from a BTC lightning node (again INDEPENDENT of XSN), and then you pay a transaction fee in BTC to swap for LTC. PERIOD. NO XSN needed. Not even possible since Stakenet is a UTXO blockchain.

And the way a trade works is like this. They have a BTC lightning node with a capacity of 2.58964338 BTC. They have a LTC lightning node with 1.16777215 in it. So let's say you want to buy LTC. So let's say you want to buy LTC from their 'aggregator.' The way it works is they show you an order book from Binance, you place an order, from the 'DEX' they buy LTC from Binance and then swap BTC for LTC from the nodes they host and your fee is paid in BTC. They also collect the spread - transaction fees. Once all the LTC is removed from the lightning node capacity, they need to send the LTC from Binance to their LTC node and then do a transaction to put the LTC into lightning. So they are limited by the latency of the CEX to replenish their node and the time it takes to upload the coins to lightning. But what if the CEX decides to restrict withdrawals. GAME over. No liquidity.
