So what's the driving force to adopt these new consoles?. Games are shit anymore. Other than playing new titles there's not much else you get for blowing 500 anymore on a console. Back in the PS3 era you at least got the ability to play blu-ray movies (a player alone would cost you out the ass) so you got a deal. Where's the deal now?.

A key tenant of investing is to base the valuation of a company on the present value of future cash flows. Workhorse cannot justify its valuation based on this.

Even if Workhorse has best-case outcomes in its current business, the market capitalization is more than 4x the value received. 80% of the market cap is pure speculation.

There are more than 6,000 listed stocks in the United States. Put your money elsewhere.

>I remember you saying that you ran tests and found that 2x SPUU was best. Right now you're keeping ~$50K in at high leverage?
3X is optimal for SPY
2X is optimal for QQQ
Ya, I don't like 3X leverage, but I loaded up on a lot of SPXL during April.
I like feeding a little 3X for if there's a fair dip of about 10% from peak.
My simulations showed that we're only closing with a new all time high about 1/10 or 1/20 of the time. Also, on the average day, the market is something like 20% down from a prior peak... which obviously is a result of skew from a handful of 40% to 60% down days, but still surprising right?

>Do you trim your position frequently? Or just let it ride trusting the overnight gains?
Lately I've just let a lot of cash just kinda sit in 2X stuff (SSO, QLD, FNGO) and then I feed the 3X ETFs when we're a good distance from peak that I try to hold all the way to their next all time highs

I'll just try the healthy living recipe, it actually looks pretty god damn good. Workhorse Group, a small Loveland, Ohio, electric truck builder, had teamed up with truck body maker VT Hackney. But it said VT Hackney has dropped out of the project, leaving Workhorse to continue on its own. Workhorse paid $7 million for intellectual property related to the truck and acquired the right to bid for the contract. It has a factory in Indiana. The company also owns 10% of Lordstown Motor Corp., an electric pickup truck startup in Lordstown, Ohio. It may tap Lordstown for manufacturing if Workhorse lands a large contract for the new mail trucks.

Cleveland-based Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. moved forward with its acquisition of Chicago-based ArcelorMittal USA, a deal that could shake up the steel industry including in the Pittsburgh region.

Cleveland-Cliffs’ waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 terminated early, according to a notice from the Bureau of Competition of the Federal Trade Commission.

The approval keeps the company on track to close the acquisition in December. The acquisition will include a 45-acre ArcelorMittal plant in Monessen that employs 181 people. ArcelorMittal declined to comment on what the deal will mean for the local plant.

“With that, we have a clear path toward closing this transaction next month, as planned,” Lourenco Goncalves, chairman, president and CEO of Cleveland-Cliffs said in a prepared statement. “…As we will soon become the largest flat-rolled steel producer in North America, we pledge to take great care of our expanded workforce and to support manufacturing in our country, through the safe and environmentally friendly production of steel.”

Cleveland-Cliffs also completed the acquisition of AK Steel, which operates a large facility in Butler, earlier this year.

Richard Bourke, a Bloomberg Intelligence analyst who follows the steel industry, said about two thirds of AK Steel’s production goes into the automotive industry and that ArcelorMittal also has a strong position in the automotive industry.

“[Cleveland-Cliffs] were doubling down on that, looking to be the biggest supplier to the auto industry,” Bourke said.

Bourke said the strategy marks a pattern across the entire steel industry. He said there are legacy blast furnace producers, like Pittsburgh-based United States Steel Corp. and ArcelorMittal, and there are newer companies like Nucor, Steel Dynamics and Big River Steel that focus on more modern electric arc furnace technology.

what are ther thoughts on GME? I sold half my shares in the 17s, and sold a call for 18 for $200 for the other half expiring the 11th. should I cash out the call soon to sell my last 100 shares, or let it expire? I'm fairly confident its not going to hit $20 before the 11th(breakeven), but if it keeps going down then the $200 premium will be less than if i just sold(which at the current price is pretty close to undoing the 200 gains if i had just sold at that time)

if this is what you think then of course you should buy it. im skeptical of gold but some miners ive looked at are attractively priced. if gold price hits 2000 you are gonna make money on your play.

A very very, almost single hand limited number of companies which have the potential for growth with a REIT of 5-6% (guaranteed? No) whilst also being inpentrable from the outside market.

The truth is, in order to achieve these factors in a long term stock, I don't know any which give high divvies:

. Hard to disrupt and enter
. Focused on expansion than excessive cash profit-taking
. High cash flow yield (not JUST for divvies, but also so it doesn't die in debt obligations)
. Long term performance with a long term Excutive management plan.
. Some type of tech-future looking focus, otherwise they need to be consumer staples in the market cycle that is NOT disrupted by a traditional market shakeup/cycle.

Companies that fit this bill are things like Microsoft, coca-cola, VISA, PayPal, even Facebook. All of which pay low divvies, but I'd MUCH RATHER HOLD over something like Shell.

The highest yielding hold I have is NOVO-NORDISK A/S at 2% yield.

Also don't forget, tax implications. MASSIVE UNDERSTATED ISSUE.

Hi folks,
I thought I would stop by and share a story:
There was a guy who yesterday decided to buy TSLA, INO, NVAX and MRNA... He went all in expecting a nice pump over night. He was happy that afterhours and premarket confirmed his predictions. And he said to his family, "as long as I sell at open, I shall be fine".
But life isn´t really that easy, specially if you are greedy and a rookie. So he saw the market pumping and thought, I will let it run a bit more... no stops, no nothing, just naked stocks in the middle of the battlefield. This guy got a few meetings right after market open for his wageslaving and when he looked back to the monitor his 13%+ overnight profits turned into a 0%... he thought, It might recover a little, got distracted on another call and when he looked back he was on -5% he sold everything at that moment and he felt like what he was, a rookie, a greedy moron and somone who now had much to learn still.
He was also told later that day that he would get a promotion so, he was happy there would be more money for Stonks!

TL;DR: Stick to your plan, and if you are not, at least set stops.
