it isn't even an issue of being the first to discover it. its simply that billionaires and hedge funds weren't willing to jump into an asset with such a low market cap. as the market cap increases the megawhales will be enticed to jump in the pool, setting off a cycle of FOMO for an asset which supply can never be manipulated.
