I've tried every antidepressant ( not self medicated ) under the sun. They don't do shit. I have a brother with depression and you can tell that the medication kicks in for him. He feels happy even if it's fake happiness. I feel like shit while I have been on every single combination of the above. The only response shrinks have is that I should be happy, when I tell them I feel like shit they shrug and give me more drugs or just recommend me another shrink because they don't know what else to do. I've had MRI and EEGs done because I also have crippling migraines and I do have some anomalies that don't qualify for "disease" but my brain is definitely not normal. My point being is that a lot of people that feel like me might actually have a condition that isn't known yet and we were born fucked up.

In my case I feel that it's pointless to put myself goals to pursue since I have reached all the goals i imposed me throughout my life and I still feel like shit. People perceive me as a successful person so it's not a matter of objective achievements in life.
The only thing I can do now is keep pursuing happiness while I use my wealth and knowledge to help my family/friends/community (I'm already doing it) . Even though they are grateful and show me love i still feel like shit.
