6 months of training wouldn’t be enough for the average student. 6 months in, you’re still getting your feet wet working on one twos, basics of footwork, learning to polish your jab, basics of defense and head movement. Jake would sleep every 6 month noob that’s short of a prodigy.

6 months to a year is literally nothing at all in establishing yourself as a component boxer or martial artist. Hell, any sport in general.
