rsr is in coinbase custody too. they added it like two weeks ago out of a possible 20 or 30 other coins. the team also has 1.5b tokens waiting for coinbase to pull the trigger and list (liquidity for the exchange).

all i know is that there's zero reason why coinbase wont list before the end of the year. the mainnet excuse is stupid, rsr is a dual token system so they can list rsr while not listing rsv until mainnet when rsr and rsv are used together. rsr is a utility token and they will be creating arbitrage pools where you can "stake" your rsr, it wouldn't make sense for them to list after mainnet and risk missing out on getting people to "stake" immediately.

Maybe, depends on the speed with which they get to market and whether it's easy to use. People will use whatever gives them the least hassle and cost, none of the "it's decentralized!" shit matters to them. Reserve has a couple of things over Libra. It doesn't have the same AML burdens and algorithmic, centralized compliance shit that will see people getting locked out of their money with Libra.
