I've seen so many bullshit marketers launch themselves off a fake following of 5k-10k ish. What's the deal, does insta not ban you for using fake follows? Anyone got experience with buying instagram engagement.

I honestly can’t wait for the day where Instagram influencers see their earnings tank. Fitness ones are the worst:

- Post vids of doing a workout, only ever ass workouts too
- Sell an exercise guide
- Post a picture of your shitty meal
- Sell a recipe ebook
- Obtain a cult-like following
- Shill Gymshark and Alphalete codes all day
- Viewership going down? Claim mental health issues, get sympathy support
- Sell £0.05 rubber fitness bands
- Act like some big time entrepreneur

Luckily lots of companies are now doing due diligence and we should see the influencer era teeter out over the coming years as the fake ones get weeded out. I know of a very famous ‘personal brand’ individual here in the UK who claims to run a successful boss-babe business but all of her companies, the ideas, the stock, the app etc. All built by a third party. She is merely a face
