You can usually find platinum for about 69 over spot if you look around online. I actually do have a solution, though it takes a lot of work for people with stacks already. Find local buyers who are willing to sell gold no questions asked for cash. You can find them on craigs list and the like. Then, sell a small amount of your gold the normal way, but then take the cash and immediately turn around and buy in cash in person. You can ware a mask now and not raise suspicion because of the virus, so you can do this in front of a grocery story in a nice part of town at peak hours if you want and nobody will bat an eye. Some thoughts on confiscation.

1) The dollar nearly collapsed in the 70s and 80s, and there was no talk of PMs getting confiscated then. Government tyranny was restricted to the Hunt Brothers.

2) If you hold a part of your bullion offshore, then, by historic standards, it is completely safe from confiscation. Offshore bullion was not confiscated in 1933. (This is why people should make use of services like BullionVault, Kinesis, and GoldMoney.)

3) Jewellery was not confiscated in 1933.

4) Mining stocks were not confiscated in 1933: Homestake Mining, the ancestor of Barrick Gold, went up 6x during the Great Depression.

5) Four billionaires (Eric Sprott, Ross Beattie, Tom Kaplan, Ricardo Pliega) have 90-100% of their net-worth in precious metals mining stocks, so clearly not troubled about the idea of confiscation or nationalization.

Conclusion. If you diversify among coins, jewellery, mining stocks, and offshore vaults, you will be safe.

I believe, also, that, as gold, silver, and mining stocks go up, the power of the people who hold them will proportionately increase, so that they will be a check on tyrannical attempts to rob from people who hold sound money. In order to implement the NWO, the centralization of money creation is vital, it's the most important element of control over populations. I only shop online and the best i can find for silver is 15% premium on 100 oz bars, 1 oz coins are around 20%.
