TA fag here. It's Fibonacci. It has lots of hater, but I drew this chart when it was in the teens. As you can see, it traded between the lines at highs and lows all through it's movement. I will say it surprised me when it blew through 36 since that is very strong fib resistance. I have a feeling the institutions that are collecting it didn't really want to establish that bounce spot so people would know. It will bounce there though. If you're in, don't worry, it's gonna go to 60s by end of year I think. It just has to consolidate a bit. It's normal. Can't go up every day.

Remember, all these lines were drawn before the price to to these ranges. Yet it's stuck to them. That is fibonacci extensions. Most people don't know how to use them so think they don't work, but they do. Drawing just from a low point to a high point is not enough. After 20 years of using this method, I could write a book on how to properly utilize fibonacci/the golden ratio to correctly predict stock price points.

Probably very good premarket and I wouldn't be surprised to see it hit 17.40s tomorrow. But I'm not sure enough eyes are on it yet. Depends on if ARK is accumulating yet or not. This is right up Cathy's alley. Hard to say if it will make that move Friday since it's a half day, or wait till Monday. It might just play around in the 14.00/14.80 channel on low volume Friday. By Tuesday though, we'll see mid 17s.

Well the point is that he has a lot of money. That is a key need for any SPAC. The whole reason SPACs are a cheap way to go public is because the brunt of the costs, as opposed to IPOs, hits the market. Shareholders pay for it to go public. So it needs a big backer. He is that variable so the market doesn't have to worry about being too dumped on, like other SPACs that don't have that safety net. It allows it to run.

One thing about robinhood.. I don't think it lets you trade until 9am? One thing I tell newer people, and not saying you are - this just reminds me, it's important to be able to trade extended hours. Webull is best for that. Especially DPOs IPOs or SPACs. They tend to spike as early as 4am, and virtually no brokers let you trade that early. Webull does. Yes yes, chink garbage. But that's likely why it lets you do that. They let retail mess around where only the big boys have been allowed to play.

tl;dr, open a webull just so you can be able to trade at 4am if you need to. A lot of times, that the most profitable sell, or lowest price you can get for a major runner of the day.

But what I do works very very well. Basic fib draws though, they are still VERY useful. I'm sure there is a youtube that goes over the basics. I'm using etrade pro to draw these particular charts. They have a tool "fibonacci extensions" in the CLASSIC pro platform. You click on the lowest price on the chart, then drag the line to the highest price on the chart. The lines then fill in automatically. Give that a shot if you have etrade.

look, in this thread we discuss markets, stocks... there are places to do all kinds of real raunchy shit. the rules here are set to focus discussion... we do get carried away from time to time, go off topic off the deep end so to speak... i mean i ate a 3 day ban for posting my gookfu's mom has dementia and went back to korea... i served it didn't isp spoof or nothing... just cried a little, took her to the airport did the hugs and kisses goodbye see ya later... now i'm just drunk, been practicing hangul every day... but for the health of this /smg/ thread we have rules... why do you think the threads with out copy pasta op get ignored, and we link the last thread to the next one... it's about decorum, it's about culture, it's about rules... these rules are here to facilitate a better discussion on topic.

this is a meta post... there is no reason to ban me for this.

insecurity shows its self, when off topic posting occurs... look i'm all about reaching out, and in some ways giving me a 3-day ban gave me 3 days to put my head back on strait, but rule's aren't made to be broken... they're more like guidelines so we can judge each other when we fuck up, or judge others when they're fucking up...

I don't know when it will hit that. I don't like momentum TAs, and don't rely on them. Also PLTR has been a wild boar. Taming it with TA is difficult so I haven't been trading it much, and have even lost money on it a couple times trying to do so. All the fibs say is that WHEN it gets to high 35s, it's a sell. Unload it and rebuy it later. It might just consolidate right now and go lower; but again, we have lines to know where to purchase it if we want to swing it. I generally swing trade with fibs.

youre basically patronizing yourself like we need you or theres going to be chaos on the street and you build up fear

you dont understand how things would work in a laissez faire world so you try to control everything and what ends up happening is nobody can ever talk about anything because you squeezed the conversation into such tiny "topics" of discussion with no bounds to how tyranical it can get

its exactly like communism happens because low IQ people dont understand freedom

go to north korea and try to become a rich billionaire you might have to join the government

at some point when youre narrowing the job options for people to truck driver for walmart youre not really giving people great competition in the work marketplace so people can choose better occupations and higher wages when you have employees competing for customers

True but that's not sexy. I know full well the variety of ways risk can destroy best laid plans, and I have taken hits in the past from most of the ways in the list, but I still can't dedicate completely to "safe" trading. So instead I set aside about 10-15% of portfolio specifically for gambles. That has worked out well so far as the remaining 85-90% will absorb the losses taken on failed yolos without any overall damage done other than nullifying the gains the greater portion of portfolio would have generated that day or two.
