Oldfag here. Not one of those 2017 oldfags but an actual one. I made a post a year ago making clear this bull run would be different from 2017 and it would be based on defi not your old shitcoins. So basically I was right. Now I will give some old time wisdom for the next year.

I guarantee many here will sell too early. Btc gets to 30-40k and you lose your mind and sell. Then spend weeks thinking you got out to early and going back in maybe way too late. We will see 250k this cycle.

Here is the big one. Almost every newfag in crypto talks about 'gains' and making it. I assume they are talking about fiat. Well 50% of biz will cash out to fiat then wake up one day their entire wealth has been evaporated and the banks don't open. Capital protection is a must. For everyone that's gonna be different. Schiff is actually right about Gold and you fucking redditors mocked him like little faggot twinks. Maybe property or other assets. You could just hold Bitcoin but it's highly likely Bitcoin will have issues from high fees to potential 51% attacks. If you are gonna at least hold legacy btc not the fake core shit. But for most you wont hold Bitcoin cause you won't have the stomach to see it drop 80% back to 50k. Most of you are normies don't even try to argue about it. And taking drugs doesn't make you edgy.

The biggest mistake young pricks are making right this second is telling your GF or family or fucking 'buddies' So many here will literally end their life being beaten to death by their ex gf new black boyfriends 'buddies' Or any money they make they will have to give to support their family as shtf. You faggots buying crypto tshirts or making a clock put of XRP sign will deserve it when its pushed up their anus by looters.

So be safe. Enjoy yourself. And know I'm always right. And plan an exit out of the West or learn to shot. If I was in the US I would already be holed up in some cabin in the woods.

Great post OP. I don’t know if you own link or were ever in link threads back in 2018-19 but I would pretty consistently tell anons that once you “make it” you have to “protect it” with gold. Everyone talking about putting their gains in the market or bank or whatever earning interest. Fucking retards acting like it’s 1950 or 1980 still and a rosy future of growth and prosperity still ahead of us for at least a generation. Even tho we are 27 trillion in debt with anemic growth and massive income inequality. Of course I was always laughed out of the LINK threads.

Doesn’t gold and silver have to be used as a baseline for any sort of reset. Hugo Salinas Price the median billionaire that owns the equivalent of Walmart in Mexico, think it’s called Ajax. He said that there will be an overnight re-valuation of gold to purge all the debt from the system the world is swimming in.

My thoughts are there will be a huge deflationary collapse of all asset prices and then the silver and gold owners (and crypto) prosper.

I'm making a gold house. Not literally but I'm focusing on quality to make it a store of value. It's a small house with a nice view of the sea and I got it cheap. So I stack it with quality features that mean it will always be attractive. Even if the local area depreciates my house will stand out as a nice summer home. If the world goes to shit it's a well built retreat from the chaos in the cities with resources nearby. I'm thinking of buying a bit of gold but in my fantasy I incorporate it into the house somehow. I thought of getting a copper roof basically so I have a bunch of copper but it's a bit too expensive for almost no gain.
I regret every bit of crypto I cash out to pay for it but I have to hedge a bit and I think something like this is the best way.

the only difference is that defi tokens replaced ico tokens.
That's the extent of the difference.
Bitcoin won't hit $250k absolute values matter. Not enough money for that.
>Well 50% of biz will cash out to fiat then wake up one day their entire wealth has been evaporated and the banks don't open
are you from Argentina or what? That's only a risk in countries that can't print without limit (including fixed pegs).

The high inflation is coming in the second half of this decade, not now. The real short-term risk here is deflation from debt destruction caused by defaults. In response to this central banks print, but that money just sits mostly unused. Only after monetary velocity increases in the future inflation will occur.

Disagree. The ETH icos were 99% worthless projects. DEFI is a genuine shift in how the world will work. Of course
most will die but some will become bigger than any bank today in the future. Institutional money will probbaly be more interested in them than Bitcoin once they understand the significance of them. The top 20 in a few years will be almost exclusively DEFI and stablecoins. If you ever want to know where to invest long term look at what Reddit calls a scam. That's currently DEFI.

Yes but defi apps have no network effects, they are infinitely composable which means there's zero moat. Defi tokens are a pure speculative play not a long term investment.
Sushi failed because they charge fees while uniswap doesn't, but if the situation was reversed they would win.
Only eth can accrue value from defi, which requires staking without mining.
>>24287237
>You don't need 1 billion to make a 1 billion cap coin. You need current buying pressure to outpace selling
Sure but bitcoin has mining and miners have bills to pay. Unless you believe rich people are really going to dump double-digit billions into btc in the span of several weeks.

Bitcoin hitting 250k is expected, but I see this going much higher due to fomo and somewhat unexpected enemy camp moves within crypto and digital currency markets. 500K is much more likely if you account for how the fomo goes in these kinds of markets.

Fully expecting bitcoin prices to see 600K if this shit goes insane. Might even go higher and bear in mind past performances are in no way indicative of any future moves.
