I had a 7k USD transaction I did through paypal a few months ago for a car. I drove 3 hours to buy the car, paypal'd the guy, and the transaction started pending so he signed over the title. Took the car home. Over the week, it was still "pending", despite the 7k having been pulled out of my bank account. I ended up having to make a 6 hour day trip to pay the guy cash, because I literally could not get ahold of anybody at paypal, outside of a chat function where they would dodge my question. Then, after reconfirming my identity, it took them another fucking WEEK to give me my 7 grand back.
Fuck paypal, they are a fucking scam company. This happens constantly, apparently, and you can't get ahold of any support team. They scam peoples' money so they can make money off of investing it in the market while things "pend" or they "review" identity documentation.
