I have recently been reading about Chinese investment in Africa. My friend told me that it was exploitative and the Chinese are essentially focusing Africans into a debt, but my question is: is there a way to profit off of these investments? Does anyone know of any Chinese IPO's that would be worth looking into? If this gentrification of Africa is going to happen anyways, disregarding morals and ethics, is there a way to profit off of it?

The best way to profit off China's belt and road initiative is to look closely at which countries are involved. Geographically Khazikstan for instance will be integral since it runs right through it. China will need their participation. If you want to become rich you set up shop in a developing nation that's up and coming, get a piece of that hot pie.

So they are doing the same thing the americans did in the second half of the 20th century?

This has literally been happening for 100 years under the Saudis, US, British, and especially Israel, and you were able to profit off it this entire time, mining, defense contracts, etc.

I feel like all this uncertainty of the chinese economy is a lot of cope. The west has been saying they're going to implode since like the 90s, it ain't happening if you ask me. Their growth is far too big. By 2030 I think they will have eclipsed America.
