VSTOL pilot fag here, can confirm all planes can up-diddly-up-up, down-diddly-down-down, left-diddly-left-left and right-diddly-right-right, but some of them can do it without a forward thrust component!

They don't provide ideal living conditions though.

If you own an actual jetliner thousands and thousands of dollars to maintain.

What if you bought a private jet instead of a van to just permanently live in, like really just keep it parked at some lonely airstrip and just eat, sleep and chill in? It will cost about the same as a house depending on your model but still would be more luxurious and above all, it can fly.

The two crashes of the Max were pilot errors. Thirdworld countries cant train their pilots to figure out how to do stuff. Color me surprised.

I'm gonna have to disagree.
How can you logically expect a pilot to land a plane if they arn't given the instructions how to disable the MCAS software?
Sure their training was lacking.
But Boeing also didn't fucking tell anyone about the anti stall systems.

I talked to an American 737 Max pilot and even he was not aware of the MCAS.
Told me that if he had encountered the same problem, he would have crashed

>> No.24231425

>their training was lacking
They were r-selected genetic trash. Mother nature neglected to train them to handle complex systems because it simply wasnt necessary for survival in their part of the world.

>> No.24231515

I think you're missing the point that most American pilots would have crashed as well.
if you're not told about something that has command authority over the entire airplane and that cannot be turned off; how's that the pilots fault?

Listen man, I work for Boeing.
They arn't free of guilt here

>> No.24231584

>I think you're missing the point that most American pilots would have crashed as well.
Then why didnt any? They were flying the MAX for a while too. Not a single crash. Clearly they knew how to disable stuff to take off. I will agree Boeing probably didnt give enough training but Americans didnt have any trouble with it.

>> No.24231861

>>24231584
That's literally the words i got from an actual 737 pilot.
Furthermore, there were 3 USA MAX flights that encountered the same MCAS issue.
But they were able to get the information on how to disable the MCAS before they crashed.
