Allow me to tell you my sad story. I bought into crypto with $2500, straight into a little coin called ETH because I heard about it on Biz. I secured 1200 ETH by the time my money made it into Coinbase. I ended up selling all of it at $20 for a "hefty" profit. I bought some of it back and kept the rest in BTC. I had about 32 BTC at one point. I then bought into Stellar big time, and thinking I was some genius from all my big brain plays, decided to leverage $80,000 on a short. Everything pumped and I got squeezed. At that point I had about 20 ETH, 250,000 STR (XLM), and 150,000 XRP. The collateral from the trade brought me down to what you see on my portfolio. I then decided I would never trade again and just HODL.

In short, if I never did a single trade after buying in, I would've been a multimillionaire from a $2500 investment in a matter of a year.

If I kept the BTC I had when I did sell, I would have over half a million dollars.

I still made a good investment, and I've pulled out about $20k from the market into my savings, but I can't help but think what could've been. Especially when I realize I could've gone all in on ETH with the $40k liquid I had at the time. Shoulda coulda woulda.
