Live transfers with USDC on Algorand's blockchain have started by Circle ($0.00 fees). Just a heads up biz. This is partially related to the 20% bump today for prices. Plan accordingly.

Nobody knows the best route anon. I'm holding a large algo stack and have been staking it. It's long term play... Xrp and xlm are probably better % returns in the short term, but always remember to take profit and store it in projects you see being relevant in the future.

I'm seriously considering to move my profit from the recent XRP pump into ALGO. The 'pump' seems steady and consistent. Also the staking would be another good point. Is anyone here kind enough to explain to me, how and where to stake ALGO?

Get the ALGO wallet. Transfer your ALGO to it and it will automatically earn rewards. Send yourself a transaction of 0 ALGOS once a day to compound.

Alright I'm downloading the wallet.
>Send yourself a transaction of 0 ALGOS once a day to compound.
You mean, send 0 ALGO to my own ALGO Wallet address? Just need to make sure that I got it right

You can stake in a few different wallets... Exodus... Trust wallet... The main wallet for algo is the algorand wallet which is extremely clean and easy to use. You can also stake on binance for my %, but they pay once a month. All you have to do is just put the algo in your wallet and that's it. It will stake automatically. In order to receive staked rewards, every time you perform a transaction, it will claim the rewards. If you wanted to claim rewards every day, you can jusy send a 0 amount transaction to your own algo wallet address and it will claim for free.

Just bought some and transfered it into my Algo wallet. Yup the wallet is super clean and nice. I think it's the best crypto wallet in terms of UI and UX so far.

Thank you for the info, anon

I'm not 100% clear on the binance details, but I think there is a lockup. You can stake up to 20k algo or something like that for ~24% APY I believe. The regular wallets are around 7.5% currently. Rates can be found on the algoexplorer.io site and going to the tools section.

Agree anon. I feel like we're super early on algo. This is where I put my profits at from short term gains. I honestly thought it was going to 12-15 cents... But now I'm not sure anymore. The next distribution date is in March 2021 I believe. The last two distributions have had huge drops in price, but they also coincidentally happened at the same time btc was having big dumps so who knows. In theory, the price should only be impacted by a few cents during distributions, but this is a clown world we live in.

If you have a ledger it’ll compound for you automatically. However, pic related is what he’s referring to.
