XLM and XRP have always had correlated price movements. The reason being that xlm is basically a clone of xrp, so when xrp pumps or dumps, people get bullish or bearish on xlm believing it has the same potential.
personally I'm not a fan of jeb, trouble seems to follow the guy. From mt. Gox where he is documented to have been manipulating the market, to his removal from Ripple over unethical business practices.
