The snapshot is on the 12th of December, the airdrop will be some months later. So you need to have registered before the 12th and the snapshot will only count those XRP in the approved wallet on the 12th. So if you have more or less after the 12th, you'll only receive your Flare based on how much you had in the registered wallet at the time of the snapshot. Reminder: you have to have it in an approved wallet AND you have to register for the drop. Both are required.

There's a pic that was passed around that showed what was and wasn't approved, but I didn't look too far into things because I went with a Ledger pretty early on. Ask the new thread for that picture, the one that shows what are and are not approved wallets for the airdrop, and you should get it eventually. You might be able, should be able, really, to just do some basic internet searching to see if Kraken is approved for the snapshot/airdrop but again, I haven't bothered because I went with the Ledger and I'm only planning on using Kraken to sell. Even then, I'm not going to sell everything, or even the bulk of it, for a while.
