Not much to say, we can all YOLO and loose money. It is mathematically proven that with high number of occurrences we get closer to the mean average of our returns. Not more than 1-2% max loss per trade.

>calculated the exact bottom price to buy an AAPL call based on delta value of the option i was looking at, the current share price, and the share price at which a massive buy order would be placed based on level 2 data
>it went through and im up 16%
i cannot tell you how vindicating this is based on how blind ive been with options for so long. I literally feel like a wizard

What is your options flow provider ? Just out of curiosity

I understand how the level 2 data helped you understand where it would bounce but what did the delta have to do with it?

>> No.24179830

also for thetalad, I don't know if the screeners you've already got in the OP also do this but this site has lots of pre-made screens for earnings, high IV, highest change in open interest and some other stuff

delta is how much the price of the option changes when the underlying SP changes by $1, right? so i multiplied delta*(current share price - price of underlying at the bigass sell limit order on level 2) and then set a limit order for my option at (current option value - what i calculated above). and it roughly worked

i use fidelity but get my information from webull. sad! i hate webull but they have free level 2

>> No.24181867

>>24181389
its just webull level 2 data, not sure if you mean something specific by options flow data, because im not using that. also, what country are you from?
