I figured I'd stay with them until I was 25 or 26 after I'd finished school and started building my own "life", but I never really found myself caring about the downsides of living with them. I have no social life. I have no romantic asperations, nor a desire to have my own family.
Now, at 32, I own 2 properties that I rent out and manage my grandparents property that my parents inherited with a 50/50 split with my parents (not a good deal from a financial perspective, but the goodwill from it is worth it IMO). This (the property ownership) almost certainly wouldn't have been possible if I was throwing away money at regular rental prices like most of my peers do.

I would stay with my parents if there wasn't so much nosiness and drama going on with family. I would go crazy if I had to put up with that every day. I am 31 and living with my mom and dad. Sometimes I wish I wasn't but it's pretty good. I ran into some hard times this year and am glad to have them to help me out. I've never heard them fucking. They're too old for that.
Also we all get along nicely and I don't have sex so that's not a concern.
