There is no right answer for this. Mostly personal preference and security vs. convenience.
Hot storage (with Spark support) - XUMM or Exodus.
Cold storage - Ledger/Trezor or Paper/Metal Wallet

“Remember that you must behave as at a banquet. Is anything brought round to you? Put out your hand, and take a moderate share. Does it pass you? Do not stop it. Is it not come yet? Do not yearn in desire towards it, but wait till it reaches you. So with regard to children , wife, office, riches; and you will some time or other be worthy to feast with the gods. And if you do not so much as take the things which are set before you, but are able even to forego them, then you will not only be worthy to feast with the gods, but to rule with them also. For, by thus doing, Diogenes and Heraclitus, and others like them, deservedly became divine, and were so recognized.”

The whole point of cryptocurrency. Take out the middleman, eliminate the need for a bank. Manage your own shit.

https://www.crypto-news-flash.com/ripple-xumm-banking-app-soon-ready-for-mass-adaptation/

XUMM is a decentralized app that combines all the functions of traditional online banking in one application. The app is being developed by XRPL Labs on behalf of Ripple and relies on XRP as a bridge currency to process transactions quickly and cost-effectively in near real-time. Users do not need to bother with third parties such as banks or other financial institutions, but can access their capital directly without any detours.

>Users do not need to bother with third parties such as banks or other financial institutions, but can access their capital directly without any detours.

i assume this is what they are talking about

>> No.24133108

the myth of the full dip from atm to lows to knock out weak hands. Sans trading in2 btc or other coinz, if tptb wanted to push hodlers out of xrp via pump n dump pre moon, they would have to utilize the competnecy of fiat transaction markets. Most advanced traders have 3-4 exchanges ID linked to trade on that would allow a maxish of 70K fiat per day. If the intent is to keep as a stablecoin for backing, then the intent is to keep in a range. swings must be minimalized.

Affirmative.

Idk. You can create multiple wallets and separate them with the XUMM interface. Maybe they mean XUMM has the potential to be the backbone for a laundering scheme.

One wallet named "Spending"
One wallet named "Savings"
One wallet named "Heisenberg"

Idk why XUMM is considered more or less powerful than any of the other wallets out there.

The whole concept of smart contracts through Flare is pretty basadu and improves on smart contract tech already out there. Be your on bank and exchange between different currencies through the Flare network using your XUMM wallet.

or i should say, the cost of mining will not be subsidized by block rewards and miners will have less incentive to mine unless transaction costs are very high. btc processes a fixed number of transactions per each ten minutes, the fees will be astronomical. btc depends on growth but at the same time it is self-limiting by design.

Except there aren't billions of BTC dumped every single week by Satoshi and one of his henchmen like Ripple and Jed do.
There's only 21 million BTC. There's 100 BILLION XRP, of which cRipple controls most of, and continually dumps billions on to gullible retards like yourself.

Jed can do what he likes with his XRP just like i can buy or sell what i like with my xrp.

Whatever isn't sold is returned to escrow.

>There's only 21 million BTC
Bitcoin has had countless forks each of these forks extends the 21 million BTC by artificially inflating its supply.

You see you retarded maxipad, If you are going to take on the entire Monetary supply of the Planet you need more than just 21 million btc.

BTC isn't inflationary with billions of them being dumped into the supply every month like XRP is.
BTC actually uses a real blockchain. XRP doesn't.
BTC is actually valuable, and even huge corporations are buying it. XRP's price has been in the toilet for years, and the only one XRP cultists can point to "muh SBI," All these "partnerships" cRipple has, and none of them have adopted it formally.

>xrp supply is dumped every month!!!!!
oh, so you know the details of Jed's contract? You know where all the XRP is flowing? You know all the details of all the contracts with all the banking institutions?

You don't? then I guess you're just making claims without evidence.

>btc uses a real blockchain, XRP doesn't!
nice baseless claim, clearly you're not intelligent because...

>btc is actually valuable, and even corporations are buying it!!!
just because something has a high price, doesn't make it valuable. if you had any intelligence at all you'd see where things are headed, but continue to put down very weak arguments to try and turn people away from XRP.

>the rest of your third line
you either see what is happening, or cover your ears and tell everyone else they're an idiot. continue making poor choices, friend.

considering your (lack of) intelligence, I don't think you have any idea what will cause XRP to be valued higher than $10. I also don't think you understand what Distributed Ledger Technology is, and lastly despite my own ignorance and lack of knowledge as to how markets work, even I can tell you that XRP beats BTC in terms of energy-efficiency, among much more. You know, the kind of things you need to think about for a system long term? Well, you wouldn't. But others do!

even ignoring energy efficiency the number of transactions that can be processed is really only limited by how fast nodes can download and save them to disk. there's no artificial "work" or empty hashing, which is a ludicrous time inefficiency and defeats the purpose of a digital currency in the first place.

also there's the thing about the Mayan calendar being 8 years off because it didn't take into account the Julian calendar adjustment so december 21 is the real end of the world except its not the end but rather the end of a cycle and beginning of another one namely the age of aquarius when opposites are reconciled and mankind comes together and triumphs over adversity through unity in love and light oooooooooOOOOOoooOOooOOOOoOOo

the market's demand has nothing to do with it. the price will skyrocket when it is announced as the bridge between the new digital currencies. i personally believe this will happen after a sudden unexpected event, possibly a cybersecurity event or false flag that attacks the power infrastructure and causes a shutdown. when things power back up, that's when the announcement of the new financial system will be made and XRP will be worth hundreds if not thousands of dollars.

And yet it's an entirely different blockchain, and the asset is entirely separate, even with a different price, so no, that's no "inflationary."
XRP on the other hand, gets billions of XRP dumped every month. Same asset and everything, further destroying what little value the token had to begin with.
The ONLY redeeming quality of this utter scamcoin is that it's very fast. I've used it before. I even admit I do hold a small stack of 1000 of them just in case you weirdos are right (which I doubt more and more every single day)
But again, just because an asset is fast doesn't mean it's valuable. The fact alone that cRipple dumps so many of these onto the masses is proof that they never see this worthless thing ever going above 50 cents. Why would they? Keeping XRP at sub 40-50 cents is in fact desirable for cRipple.
