That's every single silver junior and explorer. BHS is already at the floor which it never went below during the past 4 years. If silver doesn't keep going up then you be sure that AUN is crashing down 95% again.

I disagree. Hybrids like Vangold and Abraplata don't depend on the price of silver yet they too would benefit from a pm bull run. And I disagree on AUN. They'd do well even with current silver prices.

I wouldn't recommend it for short term, I'm buying for long term and dividends, reliably, from companies that are literally too big to collapse. Buy the big ones, is my recommendation. RDS, BP, and Exxon. I'm going to keep buying and if they dip more, I'll buy even more. These cunts will buy out any green/renewable energy companies (check their track records for examples) and they won't collapse.

Might buy some Gazprom too, but the price is high rn. Next time it dips.

That's a dangerous game, much like PM miners the market changes constantly, all it takes is Arabs to drop the price. No real expertise but I'd recommend short term the south American deposits and fields (think Petronas have good ones here) and possibly the Artic Russian fields once the price goes back up (whenever that is so wait it out) - Exxon had investment here, I assume Obama's sanctions killed that? I know companies based in Scotland and Norway are big with exploration/extraction but pick one that's been around a long time - a lot of phoenix companies in this field too.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Maundy

I really like all the old British circulating silver coins. It’s a pity your choice is always 50% pieces that are honestly too expensive for what they are, OR the proper old sterling stuff that carries a massive numismatic premium (which is okay, but not so great for stacking per se).

>> No.24077649

>>24077411

VGLD is going to have to do everything perfectly (getting milling arrangements, for example) to keep going up in isolation from the price of silver, as is AUN. AUN in particular is depending on a loan to function. Any mishaps and the stock price collapses. BHS already has the permit, ore-sorter, is making silver concentrate, and the stock price has hit a clear bottom. If anything, it's the safest bet of all three.

Man has an eye for coins. You gotta be ruthless and scalp the cheap ones to get the premiums down, a lot of it is well over-priced, I'm honestly tempted at points to sell because the premiums some people pay are so daft, but I hodl and hope I made a good choice to do so. It's hard work getting anything numismatic at a decent price lately, I'm hoping it's a sign of good things to come (green line go up).

>Technology turns everyone into NPC
>People lose connection with their lives (hunt | farm | human interaction)
>People feel the longing of humanity, can't express it, turn to technology and/or government
>NPCs become megaNPC
And look over the past 9 months. NPCs have turned to the govt and want to adopt social tracking apps.
There's an obvious play to kill small businesses. My concern is this is 'the new normal' and governments keep pulling out these bullshit laws about masks, not being able to sing, and only two families can congregate for a meal.
Shit. If the currency isn't backed by anything, it's only about 'trust'. The USD is backed, essentially then, by the military. Fear. Power.
They can keep up with the debt for eternity as long as no superpower rises above them.
Modern monetary theory. These normies are going to get their Universal Basic Income (an allowance for being a slave) and they'll cheer.

Very few have the discipline to take the time to learn things about money, investing, self-education on hobby to turn in into a skill, etc. People like to be NPC, it feels good to have nothing to worry about and chill on Netflix. I warned my own two brothers about all this shit a year ago when Repo happened, they laughed and bought 600$ TV.
If you tell people they won't get social security they laugh at you because you're into conspiration theory. If you tell them they need to have some self-respect, study skills to improve, lift, and prepare their old age they find you boring and weird. VGLD has very good ground with a huge potential for their drilling to turn up additional high grade ground. They also are at a lower point compared to before with regards to share price. They are on ground that has an old mine on it already, so less work to re open, and it was a really good producer in its time and was not exhausted. just over 100g per ton of Au eq. Their drilling will commence in dec 2020 so that is quite possibly good news to look forward to. lastly I like the management, and the anon who is super on the money with things like fireweed zinc convinced me a few months ago to watch VGLD. Yes.
Back in the late 40s when the US began buying oil from the Saudis, the Saudis demanded payment only in Gold Sovereigns. Sovereigns were getting difficult to find at the time since they hadn't been minted in any quantity in decades. After quickly exhausting all their other options, the US made their own sovereigns (and an identical 4 pound coin). The process by which these coins were spent was so complicated due to the ban on Gold, ARAMCO actually considered lobbying the Government to repeal it to make things easier for them. This all came to a halt when the Royal Mint started making sovereigns again, which the Saudis preferred over the American Replicas.

Why do you think?
Holywood wants the whitewashed version?
They don't want to blame the central bank and government for creating a massive housing bubble. Their narrative is that the free market magically did it itself.
This is the same reason they don't let Peter on CNBC anymore.

However.... soon enough the HODL'ers will either kneel to daddy JPow and turn in their Bitcoin for Fedcoin, or find themselves riding it back down to 300 as it becomes clear which crypto is the "future of money".

Bitcoin will only ever be good for buying drug online and laundering money, and it's not even very good at those things anymore.

BTC is a very volatile and speculative market. If you had bought in February, you'd've been down half of your investment by March. It's considerably more risky buying BTC than it is Gold or even Silver, which is why you'd want them as a hedge before making these riskier investments.

From https://www.elliottwave.com/Stocks/Just-in-Time-Tulip-Mania-Blossoms-Again:
>Tulip bulb prices had been substantial for years and then soared in 1634-1637, reaching thousands of guilders. Just one year later, city councils in Holland passed regulations allowing tulip bulb futures contracts to be paid off at 3.5% of the contract price. A footnote in the book Crashes and Panics by Eugene N. White adds that the decline in prices was probably greater than 96.5% because many of these contracts were not fulfilled even at that price. A few decades later, a bulb could be had for 10 cents.

I'm in the same boat, but I'm out of stacklet phase officially, and up into pirate territory. Here's what I do, and you might find it useful too: Take what you know you can afford off the top of each check, and go to your LCS with it, buying silver. Go in weekly, showing them you'll be consistent business, and eventually you'll score deals. I don't get much each week with only $40 from my check, but if I happen to get some extra money in (find a $10 on the ground? Free silver ahoy!), it goes right in with that off-the-top fund.

Secondly, if you have $500 saved and not doing anything, get into hunting through half dollars from the bank. They'll get you entire boxes you can check (just take them to another bank to cash in for paper). Sure, it's a hunt, and you may not find anything in several boxes in a row, but eventually you will. I did this myself and wound up getting several ounces in 90% and 40% for face value.

Finally, look for other sources of cheap Constitutional, such as Coinstar reject slots. They kick out all silver outside war nickels, and some retards just leave them there after they got raped for 12% of their money just to count it and those don't get accepted after numerous attempts. Just this year, scumming my local machine has netted me more than $5 FV in 90% silver dimes and quarters.

Bitcoin was created by Adam Back and Blockstream to divert capital and energy away from precious metals, as well as to split the anti-fiat community. The BTC market cap could buy the annual supply of investable silver six times over. How else do you think the COMEX has lasted this long? Why else do you think that the banks and the MSM are all pushing Bitcoin on people? They aren't afraid of it, they love it. Bitcoin also prepares people psychologically for CBDCs. After the dollar collapses, Russia and China will demand payment in gold, and Bitcoin will have no value.

"When fiat ends, so does bitcoin, because as the replacement money it cannot compete with gold." - Alasdair Macleod yesterday

It's a physical savings account, and I just don't understand everyone in /pmg/ trying to compare it to bitcoin when its not the same thing, maybe its all the bitcoin maxis coming onto here starting debates but Gold and Bitcoin just have different uses and I'll never understand the comparison of the two

Because you didnt research enough about PM, that's why I'm saying you dont truly believe in PM. If you did research about it, you would know, unlike normie who repeat the same garbage you just said, that sometimes in history, you have windows in history that make you rich by having PM. Most of the time, its just a saving account, but when wealth is destroyed, for a short period of time, you can capitalize on it. Look into Maloney and some of his old video.
Also, PM isnt just the rock, its also the stock and junior market. Now shut the fuck up, do your dd, and come back later but dont waste your time preaching bitcoin, nobody will bite. Hope you well.

>over time your silver and gold should generally be able to get you the same things in 20 years that it gets you now, maybe a little bit more

This is only true in a financial environment where gold and silver are treated as money. They aren't official money today, they are suppressed assets and undervalued in comparison to everything else in the world. Gold silver ratio has to get back to 1:14 from its current 1:80, Gold Dow Ratio to 1:1 from its current 1:15. $15,000 gold and $950 silver in terms of today's purchasing power are the bare minimum to expect. But as bonds are going to zero, and their mcap is in the hundreds of trillions, all that currency will be rushing into gold and silver to escape the collapse of fiat, so we may even see a 1:2 or 1:3 Gold Dow ratio. The mining stocks are also historically undervalued, so 40x in silver should mean at least 1000x in many of the silver juniors.

>>24094907

Some of us are already up 5x-10x this year in the silver juniors--that's since January, not March, and a result of only a 25% increase in the price of silver. Another 10x on the next leg up to $40 or $50 and that's already 100x.

PM miners are stocks just like any other, I never said you can't get rich with miners. I think we'll see high inflation finally set in in the next 6 months - 2 years and I do think Physical PMs are good to have right now, but the only window in the past century where you could get rich off Physical PMs was in the 80's with the Hunt Brothers, and our conditions are closer to 2011 where silver did a 2x. otherwise if your looking to make money with Physical PMs you have better luck becoming a PM dealer at this point. Oh, and for a long term hold Gold >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Silver and if you don't agree with that I just don't know what to tell you

>>24095050
Even inflation adjusted, $950 and $15,000 Can buy you wayy more than an ounce of gold and silver could buy you in the early 20th century, or any other time for that matter, now if your arguing that our currency will inflate to the point where 950 is worth what an ounce of silver was worth in the past, then fair enough, I can atleast see your reasoning in that case. And for the record, I believe a fair GSR is 1:40 or 1:30, $45 Silver $2300 Gold by 2021

When I say $15,000 gold and $950 silver, I'm speaking in terms of today's dollar purchasing power. By the time we reach those purchasing-power levels in gold and silver, the nominal price in dollars might be $50,000 gold and $3000 silver, or something even more ridiculous, but a loaf of bread will also cost $6. Yes. As soon as the dollar gets dumped, fiat collapses, and the world goes back to a gold standard. Russia and China have already accumulated enough reserves to issue gold-backed currencies, and are ready for this to happen soon. There will be an instant transfer of wealth from West to East.

>>24095477

Gold and silver are going to get people a lot of capital gains, the mining stocks even more so. The notion that gold and silver only adjust for inflation is a myth. They are severely suppressed and undervalued assets. If you're preparing for the collapse of fiat, you are preparing for an 8x-16x in physical gold, a 40x in physical silver, and hundreds of x gains in the mining stocks.

You can't fight a war without a strong manufacturing-base. America's manufacturing has all gone offshore because of high taxes and regulations, themselves a result of the moral hazard of issuing the world reserve currency from a printing press. Hence the American budget and debt have become unsustainable, and led to unsustainable levels of taxation. If America couldn't buy foreign goods with dollars any more, then it would have no way of carrying on a war with Russia and China. It has an enormous trade-deficit. To answer your questions regarding AUN
-they recently got funding to complete production
-so far they are on scheduale, as pan man said, keep an eye on this and hold them to their production dates (which have not been officially announced)
-If they announce Q1/2 2021 production and hit it within a couple months, good stuff
-if they dont hit it, be careful and thing about taking profits

So far, they have been doing well, much better then most have thought, and their share price has been steadily increasing in steps rather then exponentially inflating.

1: Europe has lots of gold as well
2: USA may/may not have a lot of gold depending on whats actually in the unaudited vaults (personally I do NOT think they sold all the gold they have hoarded/captured)
3: north American countries have most of the silver, which will make up for any gold deficiencies

I think it is more going to be a sideways transfer of wealth, normies in all countries who were used to having homes/education/ect on credit will get fucked. Mean while big players who have real assets (gold/land/ect) will do ery well

Money-supply in comparison to gold-reserves is more important than gold reserves in sum. Russia has kept itself out of debt, and hasn't resorted to printing enormous amounts of currency, so it can back its currency at a 1:10 ratio. The Western countries are unable to do anything like that. See this picture for more information.
