Are any of the 2017 hype coins still worth buying?

>> No.24049634

No. They are exactly what you have to avoid. Ant that were going to recover have already at least started to do so.

Look at BNB as an example, or BTC itself. Even ETH.

Then look at nano, aion, neo, etc - ded

Nano discord trannies tried flood /biz/ yesterday. What a shitshow. It ended with Nanoboiz outing themselves as satanists and literally mentally insane. Comedy gold.
>>24022161

And no, clearly Nano is only worth buying if you love satan and/or are mentally insane.

Problem with 2017 hype coins is that they have old tech and a ton of scared/angry bagholders more than ready to dump any new investor into oblivion.

Those are probably the psychopaths that live on the nano reddit board. They're a cult of rabid nano supporters that will attack anyone that even slightly deviates from the hive mind. Personally I think nano is far too simple to ever be used in any significant capacity. There are no smart contracts and there's no rewards for running a node. Mining is crucial to running a secure and decentralized network. Those two points alone left nano dead in the water immediately.
I would say there might be a very small percentage chance that nano dead cat bounces back to 20 or 30 dollars sometime during this next bullrun. But if a shitcoin like nano will pump that hard, then it's safe to assume that basically every shitcoin is going to pump, so you may as well hold something with a stronger usecase.

True, plus the Bitgrail trustees are ready to dump more than 4 million Nano on the market, maybe as soon as December, and the Nano dev fund is running out of money in a three months period. Nano might then crash to a 10M Mcap, do a 10x, only to fade away in a slow death towards zero. Unless the trustees can find someone buying Nano OTC for market price and Nano can convince the market that you will have a large dev community coding for free. Both are highly unlikely in my opinion. Nano is super risky with little or no upside compared to other crypto projects.

True, plus the Bitgrail trustees are ready to dump more than 4 million Nano on the market, maybe as soon as December, and the Nano dev fund is running out of money in a three months period. Nano might then crash to a 10M Mcap, do a 5x, only to fade away in a slow death towards zero. Unless the trustees can find someone buying Nano OTC for market price and Nano can convince the market that you will have a large dev community coding for free. Both are highly unlikely in my opinion and as you pointed out; both tech and business model is a trainwreck, plus a community traumatized into delusions and desperate hopium addiction. Perhaps the most nuts community in crypto.

I was invested in Nano from the get-go, but they completely backstabbed their investors over and over again. If you are an investor, they do not give a shit about you, they do not care about your opinion. People who gave them constructive criticism were ignored and treated like trash, while the unqualified prostitute (George Coxton who's banging Colin and thus became COO) gets helicopter rides using Nano funds.
It's horrific.... people who double down on LEGIT criticism do not deserve any loyalty or success.

Hard to understand why they went full SJW libtard, pic, and hired satanist Rockmsockmjesus
as their community manager. It's like they have an irrational desire to piss off current and potential investors as much as possible

its an open source project. "they" have no money left.

tech-wise it's ahead of any other project

How many devs have significant contribution to Nano outside NF devs? Name them and quantify, but you can't

>tech-wise it's ahead of any other project
750 tps (i.e. only 10% of what they lied about in late 2017) will never ever manage to be a global currency. Business model is volunteers doing all the work and taking all the costs for free, 24/7, for all eternity. Pure insanity.
