This 'hack' did not deanonymize transactions, it did not reveal the sender, receiver or amount.
What it did do was reveal the IP of the node in some step of the transaction broadcasting process. Meaning that it only would have revealed the IP of a user if it was the first step in the broadcasting process, even then, if you're routing your traffic through tor or a VPN it would have just revealed that IP.

badcaca is a sybil attack. It does not reveal or connect any transactions being made. It is something that can effect literally any p2p network. There has never been a traced Monero transaction.
