I use Degiro for the most part, though I also use Nordnet for the penniest of penny stocks because Degiro's Canadian and US exchanges fee you 0.01 and 0.001 euros per share respectively. Aussie stonks on Degiro have a solid fee though it's pretty expensive, 20€ if I remember right. All you really need to look up are the fee structures regarding different exchanges as well as any possible fees regarding your account (BS like activity fees or fees on deposits/withdrawals, avoid those). Also make sure you have a Custody account at Degiro instead of Standard account. If SHTF at Degiro, they can "borrow" your shares if you have a Standard account. With a Custody account the shares you have are all yours, although you won't be able to use derivatives and they'll jew you 3% for any of your dividends so just buy divvies on another platform.

It costs about 14k in power to mine one currently not including the cost and maintenance of the equipment, it’s a fixed supply commodity unlike gold and metals they can’t mine 21million and uncover more bitcoin, they can’t open a ton of new mines and dilute the supply of bitcoin because it’s a fixed supply, more miners can and do come online but they compete with each other solving complex equations for a fixed supply of bitcoins per block. Unlike with bitcoin more miners can come online but they compete with what’s in each block, they cannot simply “find more”. Gold will always have that extra weight on its head as price rises so will inflation as they race to get it out of the ground and dump onto the market.
