The crypto environment has grown dramatically in the past 10 years from nothing to what it is now. It’s only going to grow more, and while hex might be around you are being that it will be. I was using BTC in 2013. Took a lot of time off, built a business.

10 years isn't that long. you might be coming into a fuckload of hex at the exact right time and it will be your last day of work ever. things take time, and even though hex is awesome in every way it will still have its ups and downs price wise. earning high interest helps alleviate the swings quite a bit. also by not being the one that emergency end stakes you benefit even more by holding strong. i check the price a lot but i'm not moving off my stakes for anything so its kind of a waste of time

it is built to punish people that allow their emotions to have them make bad decisions. it is also built to reward people that simply hold on to the thing. and it works really well, its 100% uptime, has been audited 3 times and the UI's involved are very easy and fun to use. people enjoy making interest on their money and banks give you like 2% while hex 'can' give you 25%, sometimes more sometimes less but around that number. people are more and more distrusting of the legacy financial system and all of its jew tricks. that's why eth, btc are going up. once people realize that there is a better(faster/more secure/high-interest-paying) option in hex its going to do magical things. money will be made at stupid levels for those that have hex staked. you will also make money off of people that close their positions earlier than when they said they would. so it reinforces people to hold because holding simply makes a great return. i'm honestly baffled there aren't 10 posts on the front page of /biz/ every day just about hex. it's that good, but i imagine it won't be long until that happens

>> No.23974099

>>23973950
no, the penalties come from how long your stake is and how big your principal(in hex) is. so the fact there there are some massive long stakes out there really makes smart people more bullish of hex. those stakes will get fucked so hard if they try to end stake early. they're locked in essentially, this helps investors gather a lot of information. btc, eth and other cryptos dont have this 'future knowledge'. if you are thinking of selling after 3 years just make your stake 3 years. also sometimes the price goes up so much that it's worth it to end stake early and lose your interest earned(and possibly some principal). i emergency end staked 5-10 of my stakes simply to realize profit because the price had gone up so much i didn't care about losing my interest earned

It depends on how far your stake has progressed. If your stake was 4 years, and you wanted to sell in 3 at 75% the penalty is actually going to be very modest. If you pull out under 3% you will get practically liquidated.

I've been here forever. I don't intend to.
But I know there are a million spergs here and they should get advice from a successful adult on occasion.

This correct. But some things are far more likely to go south.
Holding a bunch of crypto and no real world assets is a great way to get fucked out of everything.

I also own a 1995 honda civic. Haven't even driven it in 6 months. However, its value has gone up... XD.

yes that is exactly the function hex has. its a cd on the blockchain. so if you do decide to end your agreement early you will incur a penalty just like a cd, but instead of the banks reaping those rewards the stakers get those penalties. which in turn incentivizes people to not early end stake

I'm talking about having systems in place that make you money and make you more productive.

Think about selling some and buying an actual car worth having early on into having a chance to do so.
The entire crypto sphere is ripe for a rug pull.
Make sure you get something out of it.
It's called hedging your bets.

Good luck to you.

you have to claim it, any hex left gets a percentage burned that goes back to Richard and the hex stakers

its amazing. we have come full circle. BTC maxitards wouldnt stop seething about HEX, and now HEX maxitards wont stop seething about AXN. im in both. AXN is gonna pump hard because of how their auction buybacks market buy tokens from uniswap. for me HEX is purely long term. but i have rolling short term stakes in AXN.

I have too much money to have a rug pulled out from under me.
I literally can't.
It's my own rug.

I've been here longer than you 100% chance.
