but with a good point, that if you compare the average annual increase in the price of gold (10%) with what the Chapwood Index shows as annual inflation (10%), you get a pretty perfection correlation. No way that's a coincidence.

Nice amouny of junk and interesting choices in Gold. Personally I think you should buy some tubes or rolls for your halves and loose quarters, but that's just because I'm autistic about having all my junk in tubes.
You might want to diversify into Generic rounds as well since they're easier to liquidate than junk, but cheaper than ASEs.

I inherited much of the junk and the chinese gold, the mexican gold I carry in my wallet as emergency funding. Ended up using a previous one for cash when I was in japan and my bank card broke. I prefer ASEs because they're also a dollar, in addition to being silver, but I think you're right about diversifying. I want more of the 2.5 peso pieces, or maybe some sovereigns.

Pan Man do you know much about the rare earth metals? Are they really that rare in North America?

>> No.23941991

>>23941922
I know of several major rare earth deposits in North America and in Canada specifically, there really not rare at all in nature, but in too low concentrations to mine usually. The main issue with REE's is they like to hang out in deposits with other more dangerous and toxic minerals that hinder the extraction and safe clean up of sites after mining is complete. They arent usually mined here as the processing is horribly toxic to the environment and the ore its self is often radioactive or contaminated in other ways, meaning our environmental regulations stop mining from ever happening on most sites. I know of two deposits being explored for active mining in California and two in Montana. Another major ore body exists in the BC / Yukon boundary region but it is in too environmentally sensitive of an area to ever possibly think of mining. Interestingly enough Dynasty Minerals Pebble copper gold molybdenum prospect could be a major source of REE's if it ever gets off the ground.

yes china has around 80% of the worlds easily accessable rare earth minerals. They also have the will to mine and contaminate their own lands to have a monopoly on these resources. China over the past 15 years has been slowly building this monopoly across the world, specifically around mineral rich african nations such as the Congo and Liberia. They have colonized these regions to control rare ores such as "coltan", the basic high grade material that carries everything from tin to tantallum. They have also made serious inroads into Canada's natural deposits of similar ores as well. They hope to be mining North Korea's Rare Earth's by 2024 as well.

If you're trying to sell it and a seller gives you shit about it, just come down closer to the spot price, but you shouldn't be selling below spot or something like that. Not too big of a deal on bullion IMHO.

Pretty much halfway through it. It's like a damn novel. I'm taking my sweet time reading it. So far, in a nutshell he goes into autistic detail on how the COMEX manipulates precious metal prices and how big banks are taking physical deliveries, as well as how there is significantly more paper metal than the actual commodity being exchanged. All of which we know already, he just goes into incredibly autistic detail

If you are trying to trade and therefore willing to take risk, silver contracts make sense because there is no premium. Allocated silver trading is very expensive.

Thanks for the good recommendations. It's funny, if you were asking for anime recommendations on /a/ or /tv/ people wouldn't give you shit, but in /pmg/ you get really decent recommendations. I really do love these threads. Silver/Gold really do bring people together.

No gold miners? You're heavy bullish on silver?

Depends on what you mean by better. Better in which ways? FM probably has the best management. Hecla is a serial diluter and always finds a way to screw existing shareholders. Alexco relies on a single mine in Keno Hill and needs exploration success. FM also will have the highest recovery rates in 2021 moving forward. The tax issue has made FM extremely cheap among the producers, and when it's resolved the stock will play hard catch up. Remember that Sprott chose to buy First Majestic amongst all the producers recently, what does that tell you.

When you start adjusting for risk the picture completely changes. Unfortunately nobody does that here.

To all the dollar bears, just remember if you have a stock market crash in your framework that's extremely dollar bullish due to the dollar smile
