You need to ignore what happened in the past, ignore the current price..dont even look at the stock graph. White it out. Due your own due diligence on what price a stock is worth assuming 10-15 year hold and buy based off that. If you don't have the skill to do that due diligence..then just buy ETFs and play the macro game.

My current Etf holdings:
VIOV - small cap, highly levereged risky companies..will benefit most from vaccine. Currently I think this is overvalued, I'm holding simply because I don't want to sell and pay tax.
DGS - risky play, small cap emerging market companies. Pays high dividends (only way to know you aren't getting ripped off by a Chinese scam).
Avdv - small cap, possibly undervalued international companies. Uses a proprietary Quant formula that's kept under wraps so other quants can't game them.
FNDF - Schwan's fundamental index for international stocks
