eBay. Buy a bunch of envelopes. Get lots of scrap card board. Place card in sleeve. Place card in top loader. Take two pieces of card board. Sandwich the card in between. Place in envelope. Send first class. It'll make it, even if it's a highly valuable card. Just pay a little for the insurance if it's more than $50-$100+. You'll occasionally get someone that bitches it's not in a bubble mailer, but they're like 1 in 100 people. Everyone else just gives a shit if you misrepresent your product. Take pictures of front, back, and all 4 corners. Preferably on a black sheet for high contrast with a half decent camera (a phone camera made in the last 5 years is more than enough). Spruce them up in Photoshop (or run them through a filter script). List for auction. Sit and wait.

Terapeak is a good research tool if you sell in high volumes. Gives you no bs price data for pretty long timescales. Used to not be into ebay, but now is. You likely don't need it. Also, a fair price is whatever you deem it to be. That's the point of selling.

>>23871503
That's your job to find out retard
It's not on the buyer to offer you fair price
It's up to the seller to ask for fair price
Fair price of a card fluctuates, you can simply just look at sold listings on ebay for current values that people are willing to buy at.

i will be but my point mostly revolves around being a noob and seeing a psa 1 black lotus for $10, so i sell my psa 10 black lotus for $100. Its nice to see the card value at all psa so i can figure out even a ballpark. We all know theres a huge difference between psa 7 and 9

So...research? Pro tip, you don't have a $300k charizard

not everyone has thousands of hours to go through cards. Only reason im thinking about it is because of the value. Idk if i have charizard but i did take decent care of my xmen cards and have already seen a couple $3000 ones that i know i own. My cards are 8 hours away but ill pick them up soon and see what i got

I don't bother with PSA/Beckett because it's too much effort and my cards are usually never more than $300

on ebay there's an option to check recently sold listings, just average out the selling price.
but its also worth mentioning that sometimes you can get away with a higher price depending on how hot the item is. usually around 10% of the average price. but this only works if you are advertising yourself better than your competition. for instance lets say an item is selling on average for $40 per day, but every now and then it will sell for $44, and sometimes it may sell for less, but the point is you can gauge that spread if you advertise yourself right. also don't forget to factor in your expenses into your asking price. offering free postage is also a good selling point. good luck friendireno.

Don't deal in fake cards. Counterfeits are usually easy to spot. Feedback score is everything on ebay. Be a good seller to attract good buyers. Very rarely do people lie because ebay is notorious for siding with sellers. We're their real customers. Without us, they don't have an attractive platform.

Thanks. Worst case scenario ill hold them another 20 years if its more trouble than its worth

If you don't have time to possibly make thousands of dollars you're too rich to bother with any of this to begin with
