Well there's always a first time for everything. Yeah first you need to set up a brokerage account. Make sure you read up on what is the cheapest brokerage with the most variety (most miners are Canadian so make sure you've access to TSX at least. If you want help on which broker you want to use just ask away (I'm not a burger though). Might be best that you go ask /smg/ about which broker to use.

I'm sorry I can't help you with American brokers. It's information that I don't need to know as a yuro. There are a lot of leafs on /pmg/ though so ask away some more if nobody else answers soon. They'll know which brokers are good.

Also I'd advice learning about the mining industry a little. It's a bit more complicated than just looking at a "promising" company, you have to understand how the industry operates and what grades are good and what kind of (myriad) risks are involved. Ask questions and lurk, and start with small investments to cope with malinvestments.

Educate yourself anon. Here are some of the most informative sources of information I've found:
https://www.investopedia.com/articles/basics/12/beginners-guide-mining-stocks.asp
https://undervaluedequity.com/mine-life-cycle-how-accurate-are-the-resources-reported-in-each-project-phase/
https://undervaluedequity.com/drilling-results-how-can-you-determine-if-a-mining-companys-drill-results-are-of-low-medium-or-high-grade/
https://www.mining.com/web/making-the-grade-understanding-exploration-results/
https://www.amscot.com.au/Download/Download?file=Interpretation_of_Resource_Company_Announcements_-_Overview.pdf
https://newpacificmetals.com/mining-101/mineral-estimates-reserves-vs-resources

You won't understand all of that but take it nice and easy, and remember to ask questions. Read company project portfolios and company presentations. I'd also advice you to learn about how to read company financials (balance sheets) because you'll ideally want to avoid companies with high levels of debt. I've already posted too many links in one post so I won't confuse you any more. But please, do yourself a favor and read through some of that and try to understand how this whole industry works to avoid losing your hard earned money

Is anyone else worried about what the rise in energy prices oil in particular will do to the profit margins of miners? I'm balls deep in both physical metals (gold and silver) and miners but I am worrying that when oil inevitably rises from its current lows it will kill or atleast heavily impair the profits of miners. In other words I am starting to think that holding more physical metal might be a better play than holding miners. Does anyone have numbers like how much is the energy cost of one produced ounce of gold or silver? Am I worrying over nothing here?

Aurcana has a great flagship project on their hands. Production in Q2 2021. Extremely, and I repeat extremely high grade silver on their property, and in good quantity. Lots of unexplored ground next to the mine which they will begin drilling once they've first cleared a lot of that ore from the underground as they need to do underground drilling. Could be a multiple decade bonanza property. As a plus, their other fully permitted (if I remember that correctly) property is also promising though that needs a new feasibility study. I wish I had invested last month but I averaged into PGM again. Will definitely invest this time

It should be a big 100m wide precious metal deposit extending open at depth. I think they're going to begin drilling soon, they're in the process of getting drilling permits. I'll probably invest if they go under 0.30CAD although since I'm a poorfag I might go for another company too.
>You said in a previous thread there was some Swedish company you liked to but I can't remember the name
That'd be Sotkamo Silver. They're currently producing silver at a great pace. Got past their 2020 target of 500kt milled a few months back already. Mine life is like 8 years if memory serves me right and average silver grade as high as 111gpt! Also will explore around the mine once they get their debts paid off a little. The share still hasn't recovered from the crash in March so I added another 600 shares last month during a dip. Their debt is quite high but since silver is pretty much unstoppable as we can see and since they're exceeding production goals consistently I've no doubts.
>>23822867
Alright I see. As far as leverage goes though Aurcana has got that too. Once the mine starts producing (on time) they'll be able to pay off debts and continue exploring. And believe me I'm excited for that exploration potential they have. Seriously check their flagship project. It's very attractive.

Fireweed Zinc's had a busy time drilling on their Macmillian pass project in the Yukon. Thats one hell of a zinc silver ore body. I need to reread their reports though its been a month since i stopped in and looked properly.
Canada silver cobalt is an interesting company I have been following for a while, their buying into a major copper nickel find soon.
Klondike Silver has control over some of BCs largest Silver lead zinc mines in the Sandon stretch of the "Silvery Slocan" belt. Its lower grade than most mines of its type, but the ore bodies are massive. They still need to get a lot of work done though, including more drilling and upgrades to their existing mill complex. I dont know much about Norsemont, let me get back to you on that one.

Maybe GWA. They're going to be producing very soon and have a ground with a lot of exploration potential, with a goal to begin production extremely quickly and start up multiple mines inside the property. Only problem is that they're leveraged to hell and back so it's left for the investor to decide whether they'll succeed in reaching production goals so that they won't dilute all of your holdings. Very under the radar and candidate for incredible growth but also very risky because of the time constraint.
NHK. Massive property and an ambitious goal of becoming a singular one-company-owned gold mining district at an unexplored area in Canada. Came out with an amazing drilling result a week or two ago. Also undervalued compared to book value so not a bad investment by any means.
AUMN. Almost certain play. Don't honestly remember much about them off the top of my head but they're comparable to and maybe even more desirable than Vangold in terms of share price to book value

Sprott said in December 2019 that he would never touch the stock. If the management has changed since then, I'm not aware of it. The reason why I shun Aurcana is because when much of the mcap of a stock derives from pricing in the idea of production, but the company has a history of failing its investors, I see unnecessary risk in buying the stock. And as far as metal in the ground goes, people say that AUN is attractive because of its high grades, but CCW has vastly higher grades for one fifth the mcap.

If you dont see what Aurcana has vs other stocks you have not been paying attention at all. Being this close to production is a big deal, you cannot capitalize off a bull market nearly as much if you are not producing.

Aurcana is set up to be 1/5 -1/4 of first majestic in production, that is fucking HUGE.

Just look at who is investing in it... we had a huge fucking dip in PM price today, and AUN has held steady as a rock and even gone UP

CCW and Vangold I like and am invested in, Vangold is actually my #1 gold play, but there are many very solid reasons why I shill aurcana so hard, and anyone who reads their investment package and sees how much high grade ore they have, can posses, and sell at 8$ per oz knows exactly why they are one of, if not the best silver miner play right now.

>keeps shareholders this well informed

The company is known for precisely the opposite. It didn't communicate with its shareholders for years as the stock price did nothing but go down.

AUN will go up like every other silver stock, but there are far better opportunities. The mcap is now more than half that of Alexco, another near-term producer which not only has excellent management but immense exploration potential. I really like their relatively low market cap, and their reputation for being a high cost producer despite that just being from mining the last remnants of their previous mine before moving onto the next two. When the earnings come in the next few years producers are going to multibag for sure, and they don't carry as much risk as the explorers or developers. Risk adjusted these are the best bets.

Their chart is such an obvious flag breakout and backtest, although this is the same for most silver miners. So it's a fantastic entry point right now, especially when it was down 10% today.

>>23828878

Since things are so volatile right now, I figured a 1/10 wouldn't hurt, just incase things shoot to the moon before I'm back to buy. Sup /pmg/

I have the following:

966.677 OZ Silver
25.637 OZ Gold
All physical

$5000 in stock market (Cannabis, gold/silver miners, oil stocks) and 24 Link

Im thinking i continue adding to stocks, im only 25 and dont feel that this is enough assets to my name, got a car and motorbike totalling $10,000 and no debt

What do, is this enough to make it? Im at a stage where my job has changed to casual and im just getting by paying rent, food and have some extra $ to stick into stocks

I wouldnt put much faith in a roll of the dice. I suspect we just had a big pump and dump on exaggerated news about "OMG MIRACLE VACCINE!"

Im not a medical professional by any stretch, but I know a doctor of pharmacology who has assured me the vaccine is total BS... plus I remember the last PnD we had from the last "MIRACLE VACCINE GUIZE" news too.

Big players have been PnD, sending their equities up sky high, and PM's low, only to use the $$ from equities to buy up PM's is my guess.

Either way if aurcana dips to the 90's somewhere I am buying, doubt Ill sell unless it hits above 1.5, even then might just be a portion, if that.

Honestly just buy literally any miners or mining indexes. I hold SILJ, FSM, and FCX. FCX has been the best performer for me so far because, as a copper producer along with gold, they seem to respond well to general market bullishness, as well as from increasing growth in PMs.

undervalued? They are higher in share price right now then during 2011 at the height of the bull market.

Can you shill me as to why they are undervalued? They look about right, as >>23831079
said I too think 30$ silver could easily see them at 10$, even 11$+ if 30/oz is sustained.

Still properly valued is a good thing, they are one of the larger producers for good reason, def less risk for an appreciable amount of reward.

I'm not an expert on domestication but most animals have a social structure that makes it easier for you to befriend and a combination of personal traits can aid in that. I don't know much on coyote behavior beside the occasional one you might see on a hike or meet running down the road. generally for crows or ravens if you want to befriend them you provide them with junk food specfically mcdonalds fries, shiny items, or blue items they'll love you. Crows can total bros but they also hold grudges and also they'll bring you gifts in exchange too if they appreciate you. there was a paper a while back where a guy set up a vending machine for ravens where they'd exchange nickels for few sun flower seeds, dimes for I think was a type of nut, and quarters for a grape. By the end of a month the guy had collected a couple $1000 dollars in change.
