What does technically cause the dumps? Is it market stop loss triggered in chains or just normies panicking? Or are these two the same thing?

All of the above as well as technical levels of support and resistance. Whales might want to take profit or go stop loss hunting, there's all kinds of market shenanigans that go on. It's actually really interesting when you think of the market like this living ecosystem.

ATH by EOY or in Jan to 20K-24K (LINK hits 400/500K sats)and then massive retrace back to 15K over for 6 months and bull cycle blow off top EOY 21'/early 22'

Except you don't own bitcoin on RH. It's like when you buy silver contracts. You don't own the physical metal you just own a piece of paper essentially and that is valued at X.
Robinhood is basically the custodian of the BTC or they middle man it for a fee (or both) but you can't just buy $10,000 of BTC on RH and send it to a wallet address because you don't own the 'physical' BTC

ETH will do well I think too but the best risk/return ration is probably LINK. Sure there will be some moonshots that probably do 100x the next couple months or 1000x by next year but identifying them is hard. LINK will probably do 50-100x in under 2 years from the current price point.

i can't believe i got in on ampl this summer when it was at 10mm cap, failed to sell the top and did some absolutely fucking retarded trades trying to swing bnt

could have 90 eth but i guess i'm too fucking brainlet so i'm going to stick to sure bets now

>> No.23803729

>>23803577

I missed AMPL and basically the whole DEFI run besides swinging some of my LINK. It sucks because I knew of shit like YFL when it was around $11 I just thought it was a scam(it is) but even scam hyped projects will moon 100x sometimes. Oh well I was afraid to risk any of my stack because I should make it it in 12 months anyway so I just kept holding tight except for the small portion I allow myself to swing

you did the right thing anon, don't sweat it
i got too fucking greedy, reminded me of the good old days, kept refreshing my portfolio every 15 mins to see my AMPL gains

some things never change
