If it makes him happy that is fine, Bitcoin is money right? What is wrong with using your money to buy a nice car?

Imagine if you only have a few years left to live? Would you care that your bitcoin could double next year and hodl it instead of enjoying what it can buy right now?

Me personally I have alot of life left to live and I want to spend it doing what I enjoy and not working so I would rather just keep my money in the crypto market on blockfi earning interest or in coins like LINK to make a super natural return.

>> No.23792978

Not a bad car actually. Any 6 cyl 981 or 781 is in my opinion preferable to most 911s with few exceptions. Regular 911s are just poser mobiles. Metzger engined and 991.2 gt3/gt3rs models is where you can find real driving joy, reliability and pride of ownership.

So in this case, this dude could have gotten (for the money) a 996 gt3 or the 981 gts he got. Tough choice, but honestly the 996 gt3 doesn't feel as nice inside as a 981 gts, and in real life a 981 s/gts is no slower than a 996 gt3. The 981 arguably offers a tighter feel.

A 997 gt3 as an alternative would be a closer call, but at that price point it might not have been a real possibility depending on the country he's in.

Those criticizing his car choice are ngmi because they clearly lack rational thinking skills.
Those criticizing the fact that he got out of btc for *any* car will unironically make it.

Old beater cars are much more fun and have way more soul. A high performance sports/super car is a waste of money no matter how you look at it, unless you're investing in limited production rate vehicles (ie, an Enzo of which they only made a few hundred, that you never drive).

A lambo will probably end up being over $10k/year just in maintenence... For instance, Lamborghini breakpads are like $900 EACH, you probably pay like $1200 just for a tire rotation, oil change $1000, etc etc. It's all a scam

Tesla cars break down all the time and you need to contact their mechanics to drive out to you. Their service is pretty based, but still these cars depreciate 5 times faster than others due to the batteries aging like a leftover woman after her 30th birthday.

But its 2020 and unless you live in Slovakia its shit.

There’s two paths in life for people who haven’t yet made it:

Build a life revolved around spending money on material/depreciating assets at the expense of Freedom and wage slave to fund this lifestyle of debt and probably hollow happiness

Be more frugal and don’t build a life revolved around material assets, rather, you allocate money to passive income streams for freedom instead. Probably more wholesome, attract less degenerates towards you and you’re not a wage cuck (as time is more valuable than money)

It’s either one of those, take your pick.... I’ve youve already made it obviously you don’t need to give a fuck about this and you can buy loads of expensive material items AS WELL as have freedom

(Personally I’d take the second option)

this, big difference when you pull out Mercedes keys, Porsche keys or Lambo keys.

Keys are huge part of game.

Mercedes is just mercedes, might as well be 2000s shitbox.
