anons, I am retarded and brand new to trading (I just got a job where I actually have enough disposable income to trade.)
so I have a question: how the fuck am I supposed to make a profit when capital gains tax is 20%?

You must have no understanding of math. If your cost basis is $8 for one share of AGI and you sell at $10 you will be taxed at 20% (soon to be 40%) of the 2 dollar profit therefore you keep $1.60 profit per share. They didn't risk dick but Uncle Sam still wants his cut so his buddies can gangfuck the US out of every last dime.

I'm retarded and through that the tax was applied to the whole sale, (like if you made 10$ the tax would be 2 dollars)
thanks for answering my question, anon
do you have any material you reccomend me to read?

Just generate equal net capital losses. Boom, no capital gains tax!
