Actually Loser General edition

This is meant to be a sad thread for discussing paid or free lotteries worldwide, dreams about winning the jackpot, sharing stories about (you) or people you know winning the jackpot, licking each other's wounds, and praying for a miracle that will certainly not happen. For the most degenerate gambling addicts, perhaps this thread and the constant demoralization of seeing absolute retards losing money every week will knock some sense into their mind.

Why do you hate money anon?
Only worthwhile here is the postalcode lottery. Tons of small prizes which is always fun. And people kill themselves when they don't have a ticket but everyone else in the postal code area does.

I "only" spend like $3 per month for the lottery. Costs nothing and might bring huge returns even if rugpulls have unironically better odds.

No problem, I liked the idea despite the fact that it's not business and finance themed at all. In fact, it's a fucking antithesis.

Bump.
The fact that this thread isn't getting traction is actually giving me hope for this board.

People would be better off buying a lottery ticket than buying any one of the exit scam coins being shilled on here right now that have less chance of returning a profit than the lottery

It depends. If you're talking about Luigi, booba, YFMoonbeam type of scams then sure. But there are rare times where legit projects get shilled here

My mother had a good union job that paid $25+ an hour in the 90s. For years, she would pump every paycheck into this kike scheme. No father of course. Sometimes she'd get a few hundred back. Most of the time I'd join my cousins digging through dumpsters for that week's food. Got evicted several times, never had a lasting friendship and gave up trying. One christmas she showed off a giant pile of presents for me under the usually barren tree. I came to find out it was all on layaway, and it all had to be returned, because the winnings she expected never came and neither did Christmas, again. My family turned to drugs to cope with this poverty. My brother OD'd and so did a couple cousins, others jailed. Eventually she died and I inherited nothing but surprise debts. If you or anybody else encourages others to keep this shell game of misery going, you are sick. Gambling addiction is a disease and those who perpetuate it it are more evil than child rapists as far as I'm concerned. So many lives have been ruined and there'll undoubtedly be plenty more to come.

I’ve bought like 3 tickets in my entire life, and I know it’s pathetic, but I fantasize about winning all the time. I genuinely think I could make a positive impact if I won, and I’m not so retarded that I’d blow the money like the stupid rednecks that usually win. Maybe I’ll buy a ticket today.

It's reasonable to put in a dollar every now and again, and have a dream.
I really hope these stupid threads are a joke. You are a legit retard who is bad at math if you think playing the lottery is a good idea. Every time you think of buying a ticket, throw 3 dollars into some shitcoin. Your odds are probably greater, and you aren't perpetuating this poor people tax.

To circumvent the ads on android, install the AdGuard adblocker and enable all filters. If you're paranoid, root your phone and install Adaway. You won't see any ads and still be eligible to participate in the daily drawings.
Not only it's free, you can increase your odds up to 100 grids per drawing. The chance of you winning despite only having more grids remains minimal, but the only cost is the time to play

Lazarus, Desire, booba, Luigi, Liquid Core and whatever else were literally days apart at most. ALL OF THEM managed to rob money out of retards and get away with it in one way or another. SURF is probably next, if it didn't exit scam already. Degenerate gambling addicts and scam chasers are too far gone, the kind buying lottery tickets will never stop feeding the industry.

Apps like these are even worse seeing as instead of money, you sell your privacy and data to third party companies who can do whatever they want with it. No, a simple adblocker won't be able to prevent all the surveillance tool they must be using when you launch this kind of app. Unless you have a rooted device with xPosed modules to manually deactivate some components praying that it doesn't fuck things up

The absolute state of this thread

Do millenials play lotteries? Or is it a boomer addiction.
