Some salty mega holders from 2017 will sell at some point. That's my suspicion.
I think it will plateau betweek 15.5K and 16K before comfortably surpassing that.
Will take months.

Bitcoin managed to do what the tulip mania couldn't.

Bitcoin isn't just a bubble, bitcoin is a multitude of bubbles that keep returning right on time. No wonder the smart people saw the opportunities and became actual billionaires, meanwhile morons are happy with their crappy 100k-300k

>> No.23752283

Bitcoin price history is literally a self-similar fractal pattern that will continue to replicate itself on a larger scale until all other forms of money on earth are brought to heel. Bitcoin is the apex predator of money and it is going to devour everything. Wait for the next blow off too and you will see people doing anything they can to get their hands on a small fraction of 1 BTC. It’s going to astound the entire world. Believe me when I say that this is the money equivalent of an extraterrestrial life form landing on this planet. We as humans simply cannot turn away from this asset. It is the first fixed supply asset that our species has ever been in contact with and because of the nature of our species it will soon become the central focus of all economic activity on earth. Forget the US dollar. You will be begging in the streets if you only have that.

There aren't all that many of them and they don't own all that much. There were only 25 days when Bitcoin even partly traded higher than the current price of $15,800, and only 15 that were entirely above that price. That's out of, umm, I dunno, somewhere around 3700 days of trading, maybe more, but realistically well over 3000 days where Bitcoin was really traded for economic purposes rather than just being bits on hard drives.

>tulip mania
Joke's on you, that never really happened.

1. the whole financial aspect was a result of the nobility getting the government to change contract law to favor them, and was quite rational as markets adjusted to the new legal situation.
2. all the tales of madness and murder and bankruptcy were made up by Calvinist Christian moralfags to teach people about greed, and were all fake as far as anyone has been able to find. No sailors getting whipped to death for eating a tulip bulb, no people selling their houses for one single bulb. Just lies spread by "good Christians" to teach their fake-news belief system.
