I am a massive cheapskate. I want to quit my wagecuck job and travel in a van. basically living for free except gas, food (which i can offset from renting out my house), and a cheap cellular plan. i can do this on 12k a year easy (assuming i dont get cancer or run over by a semi) I like to visit college campuses and go on hikes.

How can i profit from this?

maybe do gay ass travel or vanlife vlogs. i feel like theres some other opportunity here because im not tied down like most people. maybe

I've done a version of this and it's fuckng great. But I'd caution against the travel vlog thing unless you have a passion for it. That bubble is already burst.
Do some self learning or make an online buisness to avoid feeling like your 'career' is stagnating.

You can just film and make videos that are not gay ass vlogs. Try build a following, make a website and write articles. Put links for affiliates and advertising. Good hobby either way and you can profit and learn from it.
I feel it's too cramped and I need a shower, I'd do motorhome anyday

if you get a ford transit, you can fit a fairly decent stand up shower in there and put a propane water heater in. i wouldnt want to shower at planet fitness so this is would be part of it. i thought about a motorhome but they arent as customizable or stealth and i wouldnt know how to fit anything

I actually did this myself actually. There's no point in contributing to this collapsing system anyway and I got tired of doing all the work. Day job was a software engineer at a FAANG company, quit back in 2019 as I could no longer in good conscience work at such a company.

It's pretty fun and it's a nice DIY project. Just make sure you buy government bonds and watch the entire system of corporate debt crumble as you bug off innawoods in your rapevan.

I bought an older model, pre-2007 Mercedes Sprinter as it can run on Vegetable oil in case you need to make your own diesel one day. Also it's easier to repair on your own.
