Not /biz/ related, I know, but I've got a little kiosk near a factory, what should I sell? Right now I'm making and selling shawarma, but it's only bringing in about ~15 customers a day. First two days though I had about thirty each, dunno why less started coming afterwards, seeing as I have regulars, so the quality should be alright. Any tips?

what's the demographic of the factory workers? You gotta cater to them. Also sell cigs, energy drinks, coffee, the kind of stuff you'd expect factory workers to buy.

sell cigarettes for sure, lighters. Bring one of those kvass trailers. I love
those.
Maybe beer by the cup? Idk if people would come have a couple beers with their boys after work.

Sounds like it could work, my biggest problem was throwing meat product that I couldn't sell, sausages on the other hand would last much longer.

Disregard the previous reply, does kvass keep well? Seems like it would work, since the guys always joke that they wish I'd sell them alcohol, problem is that I'm inside a somewhat secure compound, I'm sure I'd get shit for it from the owners of the property for that, but kvass should be fine, thanks bruv

Water bottles and other drinks ofc. Also just go to local shops and convenience stores to see what they sell at the counter for impulse purchases

Those sort of places are a lot slower in becoming profitable tho, I'd rather stock up for a week than a year, plus Russians are generally less impulsive buyers imo

OP if you're the real deal, I feel for you. selling is always a difficult business, because you're entirely at the mercy of random customers (and their incomes and economic situation)

Lol yea not as bad economically here as it is there; still feels feasible to make enough of a profit to open up another kiosk somewhere else and just continue doing that for a while. The customers arent random either, they just don't get paid sometimes, unfortunately.
