If they were right on selling then, S&P 500 will most likely crash back down to the March lows at the cost of their initial options purchase (a fraction of the initial stock sale).

The duration of the dead cat bounce is linked to options purchases for the duration between two crashes. I'm guessing the 6 month window has passed and we'll see a repeat of March.

Disintegrated 5k in TDA to 500 in a day like a retard (went all in on GOOG weeklies one Thursday morning because I had convinced myself it was gonna pop, only for the exact opposite to happen), only to flip that 500 into 16k by the end of September. Pulled it all out Oct 2 except 2k in TDA and deposited another 2k +400 I had left into RH. The TDA account is up 10 percent, the RH is up over 80% in October.

And I've got 30k in savings to use for a house down payment next year. Hopefully it becomes a buyers market...
